The media could not be loaded. This has become one of my favorite lenses to use.Sigma is amazing at what they do and what they can create and sell for so much less than Sony glass.Of course Sony glass will always have its advantages. But then it comes down to if it's worth the massive price difference.For $500 less than the Sony 50 mm f1.2This lens is absolutely amazing.It's autofocus performances is quick and sharp.This lens is an amazing way to take your lowlight photography to the next level.

The lens is indeed awesome 👌 it well balanced and beautifully sharp. My only complaint was the packaging. The original box was in a larger box with plenty of moving room, but HAD NO PADDING. As soon as I picked it up it was just wobbling around in there. Luckily Sigma packages well, Couldn't say the same for Bolo...

Just got it yesterday. The lens is very sharp, autofocus is accurate and fast on my Sony a7R5.However, off the camera or when the camera is not powered on, it feels like there is something floating inside the lens, especially when you tilt the lens up or down ??? Perhaps something loosen inside ??? It goes away when you power up. So I am not sure what to do ??? It worries me ...

I own 4 different Lenses for my Sony A7Cii- 85 1.4, 35 1.8, 24-70 2.8, and the new sigma 50 1.2. This is by far the best and my most favorite lense I’ve ever owned. I’d even say it’s better than Sonys option.

Everything about this lens is perfect. Except for the focus. If you’re doing more fast pace moving subject specifically for video, focus will definitely fail you. I tested this multiple times and it has failed me more than a handful. I wasn’t moving out the frame by any means, but I filmed mainly gym content and I was in one spot with my face and eye clearly in frame but it couldn’t focus on me for some strange reason. This never happens to me whenever I use Sony native lenses over the past 4 years I been doing this. Only whenever I’m using sigma or third party lenses. If you’re using this for photos, or just talking head videos. It’ll be perfect. But trying to video a subject that’s moving, doesn’t have to be quick, it’ll still miss focus which is a bummer.
Ein feines SIGMA Objektiv !
Habe das Objektiv seit 6 Wochen, die Lichtstärke 1.2 & die scharfe Abbildung bis in die Ecken, selbst bei 100 % lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der aufgerufene Preis von über 1500 Euro ist jedoch recht heftig !!!Meine Kamera, die Sony A7IV als auch das SIGMA Objektiv 50mm f1.2 harmonieren gut zueinander.Habe keine Beanstandungen, aber Sony GM Objektive können was die Preisgestaltung betrifft es noch besser.
