My adult daughter and I opened this kit today. We enjoyed the kit - it was fun to do. The value was excellent. Each element of the kit is a quality item. The glass candle containers and lids are very nice; the quality you’d find in a shop. The boxes to gift the candles are even nice. We could have used more wax, maybe we filled the candles too much? We made a couple candles for ourselves and a few to gift.The kit was easy to set up and easy to melt the wax. Though I would turn up the temperature on the wax melter early on. We waited about a 1/2 hour before we realized the 100 degree temperature recommended to begin would not be hot enough. We enjoyed the scents, though the tea tree oil was not something we’d use and my daughter was wishing there was a vanilla scent. Fully recommend this kit! Much better than expected!

This was a good value kit that included a lot of neat stuff to get you started. I spent a lot of time trying to decide which kit to get, and if I could go back, I’d probably choose a different one.When I opened the box, there were some nice gift boxes for the candles, but they were not usable because they had wax smeared on them. Somehow, wax was loose in the box and was rubbing up against other stuff in the box. Most of the items in the box were plastic wrapped or in a protective box, but not the boxes that were meant to package your creations. Also, 8 different Oils were supposed to be included with this kit, but I was missing one and had two of another.I like the warmer because it allows for heating without a hot plate and a thermometer. The major problem with this is that it doesn’t have a pour spout, so poring the wax out can be messy.Overall, decent kit, but with a few minor quality control issues.

I bought this so me and my granddaughters could make them for Christmas gifts for their moms. And it gets me some extra special time with the kids. And we loved making the candles. The kit came with everything needed. I love that they even had the scents. This was so much fun.

We did this as a group of 8 and it worked out so well. I would say have a guinea pig test run where everyone can watch and try. The instructions don’t say how many essential oils to put in but we found that about 20-30 drops was good!Beeswax took a lot longer to melt just an FYI

So excited to give this kit to my daughter for Christmas, my daughter loves all things crafts, but she particularly loves making candles. I peeked inside and it has so many different options, absolutely everything she could need, a very complete kit. I love the electric wax warmer so she can melt wax safely, the scents to add to the soy wax and the candle jars in such pretty colors. It even comes with gloves, they thought of everything and it's going to be such a perfect Christmas gift. Great purchase! I know she's going to absolutely love it!

But the melting pot is not working good. The digital numbers are jumping around, it's hard to set it and I have constantly adjusting the temperature on it when I was making candles last night... that was stressful 😫. But everything else was awesome except the melting pot.
