Had the MX series for .. well .. ever, until the mouse clicker started misbehaving - that and I had to use a USB switcher to switch between work and home computers (I work from home). This guy .. now this guy is perfect. The 1-2-3 button on the keyboard and mouse, which are independent from each other, are fantastic. At first I thought it was annoying - why on earth would I want my mouse on one computer and my keyboard on the other -- ohh, but I DO I DO ... kick off a play list/netflix/something on my personal while merrily writing up a doc on work. It's great!!My biggest suggestion is to NOT use bluetooth. I think it sucks too much battery, and is much slower to connect, and often - especially with Mac - doesn't always make the connection. My work computer has a pre-boot password (bit-locker thing) so can't use bluetooth with it. With the universal USB - it's INSTANT workie workie happie happie go go go. Works pre-boot every time, and I'm convinced it uses less battery as well.Even tho the keyboard is louder -- not quite old IBM bashie bashie keyboard loud, but maybe close -- it FEELS GOOD. It's nice and responsive. Not soft and squishy did I press the key at all? The mouse is not as big as the MX850 (I think that's what I had) - but it's a good size, feels nice in my average girl sized hand. The device switcher button on the mouse does not get in the way of normal use.The feature I do not use is Flow. Flow is this handy-dandy-feature that allows you to mouse over to the side of your screen and it'll auto switch (I think just the mouse) to the other computer). In theory it seems nice - but I think my setup confuses it. I have a Mac and a PC and both of them share a monitor - during work hours my work laptop uses it, then off hours I manually switch the monitor (using monitor menu) to my mac -- so trying to use flow it sorta gets lost on the mac and I can't get it to switch back - probably because it can't actually get to that side of the screen. But, it's really not a must have feature to me. I'm too controlly that way.I like that the keyboard has both windows, mac, laptop labels on the buttons .. example: one button has start/alt/opt, another has alt/cmd/apple .. has the fn keys too. Makes using it very handy for my apple handicapped hubby. Because it has laptop fn keys some standard keystrokes need modifcations, but it's easy ... like print screen is fn+insert (has camera icon) .. and limited print screen is ctrl+fn+insert .. but they're all close so easy -- little tweaks in the day of the life.Have I mentioned I really do like this keyboard/mouse? yes, yes I do. you might too. :)All in all two hearty thumbs up. Really great replacement for my previous Logitech, I didn't think it could get better - and this is definitely better.

Keyboard is a little large from front to back but it’s much easier to use than a non-ergonomic keyboard. The keys are easy to strike and better for my carpal tunnel. It has keys I’ll never use because I have a keyboard for my tablet, but I can see how useful it would be for people moving their keyboard between devices. Overall works well for me.

For daily personal use, I use both a laptop and a desktop PC, and for the past year, I have been working at home, which introduces a 3rd device (a work laptop) to my daily routine. I've got sort of a "man-cave-ish" work/personal setup going on now, where my desktop and work PC are both hooked up to my main TV (I switch the TV input to the work PC during work hours), and my personal laptop is hooked up to a 2nd smaller TV, situated at a slight angle next to the main TV. This whole setup is situated in front of my recliner, from which I now use this spiffy keyboard/mouse combo to control everything. The keyboard has a slightly convex key arrangement. I've never been a fan of this, but this one's is pretty slight and not an issue for me. I've also never been a big fan of wrist rests on a keyboard. Most keyboards I've had in the past have a detachable one. I was concerned about this one because not only is this one not detachable, but it also has a fabric surface, which I (correctly) feared would become rather funky after several days of use. Luckily, it does clean up nicely with a disinfecting wipe. While it doesn't do a whole lot for me functionally or ergonomically, it isn't as big a problem as I thought it might be.I don't have any real issues with the mouse - it's fine, although I had to go into the software to disable the gesture "button", as it was extremely annoying. The actual buttons on the side are fine, but the "non-button" area of the left side of the mouse as a whole acts as a button as well, and I was constantly getting the windows-tab screen when I didn't intend to see it.As for the USB connectivity, I have my main desktop using the Unifying Receiver, and I am also (out of necessity) using the extender cable which was included in the package to bring the receiver closer to me. This mouse and keyboard seem to have a much shorter range than other wireless Logitech mice and keyboards I have used in the past, but the extender cable makes it usable. For the Bluetooth connectivity, there is typically a delay of a few seconds when switching to a device, but I had read others' comments to this effect before I bought it, and figured it was a fair enough tradeoff for not having to switch to multiple mice/keyboards when using multiple devices. It's not that bad.The main issue I have with the connectivity is that if I am using a 3rd Bluetooth device (i.e., a headset for work meetings), if I switch either the mouse or keyboard to another device, it won't connect back to the device using the headset. I actually have to open the work laptop and use the laptop touchpad/keyboard to go into Windows settings, disable Bluetooth, and re-enable Bluetooth in order to use this mouse/keyboard again. It is really annoying. The obvious workarounds are either to not switch to another device when on a work meeting, or to just use the built-in audio of the work laptop instead of a Bluetooth headset. I don't know if this is the fault of the Logitech mouse/keyboard, or if it is an issue with the work laptop or even my Bluetooth headset, so until I've done more testing, I can't really ding Logitech for this issue.Overall, this is a good solution to my problem, which was having to juggle 3 different mice and keyboards, but it is not a perfect solution - I will still keep my eyes peeled for similar solutions which don't have all of the issues I described above.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised. This is my second keyboard and mouse combo.

The keyboard and mouse come with alkaline batteries. I use lithium batteries to avoid leakage. The keyboard and mouse work well. Using it on three different computers is easy. There are a few minor shortcomings, but they are not deal breakers:1) There are no Windows logo or print screen keys. So, you would have to use "Snipping tool" instead. The work around is that I have my old, wired keyboard still plugged in behind my monitor. If I need to use print screen or Windows logo key, I just grab the old keyboard and use it.2) The mouse is good. The mouse button for switching between computers or devices is next to the other two side buttons. I do accidently press the device button by accident and my mouse will disconnect form the Bluetooth. No problem, I just press the button until it connects to my computer.I recommend using lithium batteries instead of the included alkaline because the keyboard and mouse can still work with a low battery. Some alkaline batteries will still leak even though there is still a little charge left in it. I ruined one Logitek mouse that way. The battery was leaking even though the mouse was still working.Bottom line: If you want a wireless keyboard for work with the ability to take the keyboard and mouse combo from one computer to another, this is the keyboard for you. Not too expensive and does the job.

Well constructed, easy to pair and works great!

Connects and switches between my desktop, laptop and my Samsung TV flawlessly.

Great multi device keyboard and mouse combo, easy to use and easier to recommend

I went for this combo for the following reasons:1. It is multi-device compatible which means you can use it with Windows/Mac as well as your Android/iOS devices.2. It has both Bluetooth and a single unifying receiver: You can either use Bluetooth or the dongle receiver that is provided in the box to connect the devices. This is a nice thing to have as you don't have to depend on the dongle and the need to have usb-A ports on the device you want to connect it with.3. The Logitech Options app is just brilliant. You can use it to check device status like battery and customise various functions of your mouse and keyboard to the next level.4. I was in need of only a keyboard but the mouse has been quite a big upgrade from my older plug and play mouse. I just can't stop using the hyperscroll wheel and it's other buttons to quickly access various functions like opening control centre or copying and pasting too! This is also an optical mouse that uses infrared as opposed to laser and is more accurate and has a great ergonomic design as well.5. The palm rest on the keyboard has also come in handy and has a good feel to it.I do face some lag/connection issues once in a while, but it's not something that bothers me very frequently.Overall it's a great buy and I have been completely satisfied with the purchase.
