These highlighters are pretty, but they are not for the Bible or other thin type pages. They ink goes on wet like paint and bleeds through even thick pages so be careful! Overall, they are great highlighters for the price point and very pigmented. I would recommend, just not for your bible :)

As with a lot of Mr. Pen items, quality is always solid and expected. These highlighters are no different. I'm so pleased with the color payout and the SHIMMER is so pretty. The markers themselves are pretty attractive looking too and will look good with most stationary sets.The colors are a bit on the darker side, but it gives a bold look. They work best over darker inks. And they're quite inky on their own so make sure any pen or text is fully dried before applying (as with most highlighters). Note that there is SOME transfer of the shimmer when it's rubbed against something else (other pages, fingers). It's not excessive and it won't ruin the pages, but it's still somewhat noticeable.
