This is a small size, lightweight iron with a steam feature that would be great for traveling or light home use. It does require a flat surface. It doesn’t get super hot like a regular iron which is a pro for traveling or use without an actual ironing board, compared to a regular iron that you have to worry about damaging the surface underneath with the intense heat. That being said it does heat up quickly and seems to work pretty well to remove wrinkles from clothing. Adding the steam (by pressing the button to release water) seems to help expedite the removing of wrinkles. So with a little bit more effort and time than a regular iron, it is effective. Comes with bag, mitt, water funnel, and a plastic stand to set the iron flat in. The plastic stand didn’t melt when I used it, but did get very hot. I would wonder about the stand melting with prolonged use of sitting the hot iron on it (like if you put a plastic bowl on a hot stove top, it will eventually melt). That is really the only questionable thing about it. You do kind of need the stand as the iron is so light weight and prone to tipping over when it is set on its side. Over all seems like a good travel item.

I don't have a large room and a big iron is too large to store. This little iron is perfectly sized for my occasional use. I can put it in a drawer when I'm not using it and it won't be in the way. My only complaint is having to steam in a downward trajectory as opposed to a vertical one. It would be nice to have been able to use it while the clothing was on a hanger. But, since it is so inexpensive, it is worth what I use it for. It doesn't get drastically hot, so I don't have to worry about scorching my clothes It also has some built in safeguard to prevent fire hazards. It is very simple to use. Would be great to have in luggage to steam out wrinkled clothing.

* Easy to pack due to size* Requires a flat surface to 'iron' on, not best for a hotel roomThis steamer is tiny which makes for easy packing, however the style of it requiring a flat surface to hover over may be hard to come by in a hotel room. When traveling, it may be preferred to have an upright steamer that can be used from a hanger.

The media could not be loaded. What I like about this travel steamer is that it is also a mini iron. The package came with the iron, a small plastic vial for water, a felt bag and the iron itself. This iron can be used on all kinds of fabric. The small size is a plus when packing but there is a little weight to it which would have to be taken into account. other than that, it's a neat and useful gadget to have when traveling so that rumpled clothes can be ironed prior to wear.

I ordered this for our upcoming vacation, but I have been using it nearly everyday. It is so much easier to grab than my larger steamer or my iron. It definitely gets the job done!
