This Jovial Einkorn Organic Caserecce Pasta says it is made from ancient grains, so it's less processed. The pasta was just as easy to cook as any other pasta, but I found I liked the texture at about 10 minutes instead of the boxes suggested 12. There is 7g of protein per 2 oz serving, but we usually eat close to 3.5oz, so we are getting closer to 12 or 13g. This tastes almost exactly like normal pasta, just stand grainier.Note that you only get 10oz of pasta, not 12 or 16 like most others, and so the value has to be there for you.

This pasta has a great flavor and texture that my family really loved. The shape holds on to pasta sauce really well! The flavor was elevated from what I usually expect from normal ultra-processed pastas, and the noodle was as much the star of the dish as any other element, not just the backdrop. Keep a close eye on the cooking time and taste test your noodles early, ours cooked faster than recommended.

This is a pretty tasty pasta.It's a bit different as it's made with an "ancient grain", not just the usual ultra processed flour.It does come a price tag to match, so depends on if it's worth it to you, but it is a good pasta.

Jovial Einkorn Caserecce is a tasty and healthy wheat pasta that is easier to digest and is the only wheat never hybridized making it well tolerated by many with gluten sensitivities. The manufacturer noted a cooking time of 12 minutes but when I checked the pasta at 9 minutes, I found that it was past the al dente stage and was soft. Not the end of the world but I would recommend checking the pasta at the 7 or 8 minute mark to get the al dente bite. I paired the noodles with a meat sauce and did not tell my family about the pasta when they started eating it. Halfway through the meal I had asked them what they thought. The only thing they seemed to notice is that the shape of the pasta is not one that we have eaten before. When it comes to flavor they said it tasted the same as the other pasta shapes that we usually enjoy. There are 6 servings per box with each 2oz serving containing 200 Calories, 1.5g Total Fat, 40g Total Carbohydrate, and 7g Protein. The only ingredients are organic einkorn and water. It is a USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Glyphosate Residue Free, and Kosher Product. It is a Product of Italy. The product that I received has a best by date of 32 months from the date that I received it. It is a tasty pasta that is worth the try if your budget allows.

I can't even recall the last time I had spaghetti this delicious. This was my first time trying noodles, so my expectations were low. I cooked it for 12 minutes as directed per the recipe. The flavor really impressed me. It tastes great! When you have to reheat leftover spaghetti after taking it out of the refrigerator, I detest it. Reheating this spaghetti tasted exactly as good as if I had just prepared it. My favorite crab cakes were used in my recipe, and the entire family enjoyed dinner! Will definitely buy this pasta once again!

This is good pasta. I love the shape of it, which makes it so tasty for sauce to coat the entire noodle. I love that it is organic and has a higher protein content. The only thing that could possible stop me from getting this again in the future is the very high price point. I don't know if I could ever see myself spending this much on pasta, as it might not be worth the value.
