5.0 out of 5 stars Hair growth leave in conditioner
Wow! My hair definitely getting thicker and starting to feel more full. It’s super soft now as well like a rose pedal! Doesn’t really have a scent, I use it as a leave in conditioner and just mix the batana oil with my leave In conditioner. Works great like this. Very shiney as well! My hair is growing like crazy and the moisture level is perfection!
4.0 out of 5 stars Smells Amazing!
Ok, I believe this is pure 100% Batana oil because it smells like coffee. Also, the ingredients only list as “Batana Oil.” So, I’m really hoping this is the real thing love the smell and hope it works. Will update later.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good product
I like this product. I found out that Dr. Sebi promoted the oil which is native to his country, Honduras. I have noticed my hair is growing and getting stronger. I got it to assist with my edges. My hair line and edges are coming in slowly. I am wanting the thickness I had to my edges prior to braiding trauma. Otherwise it is a very good product and will help any hair texture grow.
5.0 out of 5 stars Impressed
What I like is that this product make sure hair soft and make your hair more manageable. It also helps your hair grow.
3.0 out of 5 stars Unsure yet if this is real or fake
I can't say for certain if this is authentic Batana oil or an imposter. It smells like coffee or burnt popcorn. It's a solid in the container and melts when on the skin and doesn't leave a white or gray residue. It says there's only 1 ingredient, BUT it also says "This oil is a unique blend of natural ingredients INSPIRED by the hair care traditions of Honduras." It's not very dark but it is a medium brown colored.I have not used it yet. I just received it a couple of days ago and am waiting to use it once I take my braids down and cleanse my scalp. I thought when I purchased it, it said raw and unrefined but it does not have those words on the container or box anywhere. Oh well, we'll see if I have positive or negative results. I pray for positive ones.
5.0 out of 5 stars This product is AMAZING!
First of all, I wished I had found this sooner! I also wished I had taken a picture of my hair before using Batana. My hair is extremely thin and fine and become very frizzy. I used this product once expecting my hair to be flat and stuck to my head because of the Batana! Much to my pleasant surprise it was totally the opposite! It is full of body and shine and will now actually hold curl! I can't say that it has increased my hair growth because it is way too soon for that, but I will update in that event. I have struggled with dry frizzy hair for so long and I am so thankful to this product. If you haven't tried, please do, it's wonderful!
1.0 out of 5 stars Scalp Burns and Hair Loss
I bought this product under the pretense that it would help with growing my hair. Instead, when I apply the oil, there's a lasting tingling sensation that turns into scabs a few days later. I felt like I got a perm and received chemical burns from it. My scalp was extremely dry and I lost hair as a result of it. This product made my scalp extremely painful and itchy and I threw it away. I used it for a few weeks not believing it was the product but maybe something else, but I tried it with nothing else and had to wash it out after a few days to get relief in the Independent trial.
4.0 out of 5 stars Hair edges getting full
I'm a braid, wig, or weave wearing woman. Unfortunately, 3 years ago my edges were getting thinner and thinner. I tried every concoction to save what little I have. I even thought of hair transplant by flying to Turkey. But, a friend advise me to try Batana Oil. I purchased this product on a whim. And my hairdresser said my edges are filling in. Maybe I wont do that expensive hair transplant after all.
Very good

My wife loves this hair oil
I got this batana hair oil for my wife to try. At first she was skeptical, as she thought she'd heard of all the "amazing hair grow oils" on the market and had never heard of batana. But, she was pleasantly surprised.By all accounts, it's fairly easy to use, you wet your hair, apply all over (root to tip) and then leave in for 20-60 minutes. She puts it in and then puts her hair up in a shower cap and gets on with other things, and then after an hour is up she washes it out and does her regular hair routine. She says that the oil itself has a pleasant nutty smell and you don't need a massive amount to get results. Her hair feels super soft and shiny after using, and she's even had friends compliment her on how good it looks. She would happily recommend this oil. This pack of two 150ml tubs of batana oil is selling for £20.99, showing as reduced from £26.99, at the time of this review. When I asked my wife how much she would expect to spend on two tubs, she said about £20, so the reduced price seems to be the more appropriate one.
