I am relatively new to espresso machines, but have read quite a bit about what makes a good espresso and crema features high on the list. This machine makes respectable crema (see photo); although the freshness and roast level of the beans play the major roles in determining the amount of crema.I do, however, end up fighting the machine when I attach or remove the portafilter - the only way to prevent the machine from dancing around on the counter, is to hug it like a dear, long lost friend.The water tank holds a decent amount of water. The narrow footprint works well on my kitchen counter - there is very little of it, so that is a bonus. I tested the milk steaming attachment briefly - so quickly that I really cannot comment on it. You see, I dislike creamer, milk and especially hot milk in my coffee. Got this product for my crew at work. I have heard nothing but praise surrounding it. It is super easy to use, Installation was just removing it from the box and plugging it in. This espresso maker works fast and ensures the espresso is hot! I love how easily it it to clean!

The media could not be loaded. So setup was kinda tough and took a bit longer than the instructions said but that’s fine. After playing with it a bunch trying to fight out the best way to froth the milk and how hard not to pack the coffee into the 1 or 2 serving measurement holder this got a lot better. Does take a while to froth the milk after you brew the coffee. And clean up east being vinegar water through and unscrewing the tip on the frother. Express’s taste really good like a coffee shops and the frother did an excellent job doing its own thing. Great machine and love having it in the house for those “need to wake up days”.

I have never made espresso before recently, so this is a new experience for me. I’m still getting the total hang of using it, but so far I have learned it does great job for frosting milk. I made espresso martinis with this. Perfect for a party or a brunch gathering.

This is a compact machine that produces good espresso. The biggest problem was that the portafilter interface is too tight in the beginning when it was difficult to twist fully into the locked position, but this seems to fix itself over time. There are no leaks or dripping and the resulting espresso is strong, but somewhat lacking in the amount of crema produced when testing side-by-side with a different machine. Seems like a nice machine for a very reasonable price.
