The DJI Osmo Action 3 is a fantastic choice for capturing skiing adventures. The video quality is impressive, with crisp 4K footage that truly captures the beauty of the slopes. What I love most is the RockSteady stabilization—it keeps everything smooth, even when you’re flying down the mountain or hitting bumps along the way. It’s also incredibly durable, holding up well in cold, snowy conditions without any issues. Plus, it’s waterproof, so I never worry about it getting wet, and it is fun to take to the beach. Overall, it’s a solid action camera that delivers on performance and reliability for skiing.

Comes with 3 batteries, 1 charging case, outer shell attachment, flat stick circle with attachment point and a selfie stick that is extendable. Works great for under water footage and I did not need the diving kit cause I am not going very deep but it is definitely water proof. My only complaints are that I wish the charging case could charge on its own. It works more like a docking point for charging 3 batteries at the same time instead of a portable charger. The quick attach points are great and secure the camera very well and I would suggest picking up a couple more for other things you might want to do cause it only comes with 2. Picture quality is great and there are a lot of different functions you can do with it. I did have it overheat while using it outside in direct sunlight on a 100 degree day but it continued to record just the screen shut off. After cooling it down it worked perfectly and that pretty standard for electronics in extreme heat. Batteries last a long while and you can probably get 5-6 hours of footage with all 3 batteries (dont quote me on that though). You will also need to pick up a sd card and I would recommend 256gb or larger if your filming a decent amount.

I bought this in prep for an upcoming dive trip, so will review it as such in combination with the waterproof case.Without the waterproof case the camera mounted fine on my motorcycle. The magnetic mount makes it easy to clip in. Turn it on, hit record, and go. It takes 5 minute clips that are easily stitched together in any video editor.With the waterproof case, I mounted it on my scuba mask for a first person point of view video. Worked great. Turn on, mount, press record, and dive. 40 feet with no leaks and no problems.I will be under four hours each day, so I bought batteries and charger to swap out when I surface. A word of caution here. Get DJI batteries. Third party batteries will fit, but the camera will error out, as will the charger. Use the branded batteries and save yourself the headaches. Get an extra SD card as well. At 4k, you can fit an hour’s video on a 256gb card with no trouble - maybe 2 hours. Swap while swapping battery and offload the videos while you’re on your next dive.As I will be in riskier conditions on this dive trip, the ability to shut off the front display is another benefit to me.Video and photo quality were excellent. Controls were easy, even with gloves. Very happy with this purchase.

4 weeks ago I purchased the DJI Osmo Action 3. After trying no less than 25 times over a 3-day period, I called DJI support. After performing some basic steps which I had already tried before calling them, I was told to return the item because it must be faulty. I really wanted this camera, so I waited aweek for the refund to show up in my Bolo account, then purchased a second Osmo Action 3. Again, I ran into the same connectivity issues and again I called tech support. After more basic troubleshooting, I was requested to leave my email and a more advanced technician would be in touch with more in-depth instructions as to how to pair my Osmo Action 3 with the MIMO app. After not hearing from DJI for 36 hours, I called to ensure they had my correct email, which they had, and within the same 48 hour period I would definitely receive an email with more precise instructions as to how to pair my device with the app. After waiting a total of 6 days and receiving no email and hearing NOTHING from DJI, I finally decided to return the second unit. I waited 2 weeks for my refund, at which time I immediately purchased a GoPro Hero 11. The unit arrived the next day, and I just completed syncing it withe the GoPro Quik app. Connecting my GoPro Hero 11 to the app on my phone was effortless, pain-free, and stress-free, and it took all of 3 minutes to set up, from start to finish. Also, I had purchased the Freewell Bright Day ND/PL lens for the Osmo Action 3, and the time to return them and get a refund expired due to DJI's failure to reply, so I lost $70 and I'm now stuck with lenses I can't use.I will never in this lifetime nor the next purchase another DJI product due to the way I was treated, and I highly advise others to carefully consider before doing so as well.

I have the Osmo 2 and was mostly satisfied with it. The Omso 3 is even better. It is a bigger form factor, but the improvements are worth the size increase. I took it on our hiking trip in the Rocky Mountains; it captured the raw beauty of the landscape. The biggest issue I have (and it was also on the Osmo 2) is when you change batteries the camera settings change to some default setting, therefore, you have to change the camera back to whatever setting you were previously using. Otherwise you'll think you're videoing and it'll be in time lapse mode (Osmo 2) or picture mode (Osmo 3). But the video performance is amazing, great image stabilization, excellent frame rate options. It's high bang for buck, GoPro Hero performance for about half the cost. Would recommend to anyone.

I was looking for action camera for some time now and mostly I was looking at GoPro cameras but prices was too high for what I need.I do not know why I didn't look for DJI product earlier because I already have theirs drones and they are amazing!Batery life is more than enough.Cameras on drones are also amazing!And now I bought this DJI osmo action 3.I love it!Package,like always,came in perfect condition!I'm just charging battery for first time and I'll see what is her life.But overall I'm am so happy with this product!Highly recommend it because they are comparing this one with GoPro 11 but price is huge difference.Also highly recommend all DJI products!
Amazing crisp video & pictures - highly recommend :)
I purchased this in 2022 for my 3 month trip to the Philippines and just got back in 2023 - I used it everywhere taking pictures and videos. The quality being awesome, I have read others having issues with poor quality or micro sd cards being ruined - non here what so ever.Video's and pictures crisp and clear. Only issue I have had was when using in the water trying to swipe the screen from video modes or say to picture mode was not responsive allowing me to do. Dry I had no issues - but when wet not work so well for me.Otherwise I highly recommend.The videos I captured underwater is breathless along with pictures taken.Battery life awesome also but I did get the battery pack and that really works great!I highly recommend.
