Not as wide as I'd hoped it would be but it does the job. Glad for it as I hate people looking through my windows from their flats opposite.
Easy to apply and look great
I don’t like net curtains, but I also don’t like people peeking in through the window as they walk by. do like having my curtains open during the day though.These films are perfect for stopping people liking in but still allowing us to look out. Also, the UV filter is merely just a bonus.The instructions seem fiddly but once you get started it’s really easy to apply. You’ve just got to be careful as you go,This pack was enough to lay some strips across the bottom of my upstairs windows. Not enough to cover the whole window and had I bought these instead of using Vine I would’ve gone for one piece that’s big enough for the whole window, but no choice over size on this Vine listing.However, it has made me realise that I love how easy they are to fit and the effect that they give so I will recommend and would definitely buy them again.
Fantastic
Got this for my bedroom which overlooks a busy street. I'm delighted with it, it was so easy to apply and transferred onto the glass so quickly. It works fantastic, I can see outside but people can no longer see in my room during the day. I didn't have air bubbles and I've had no peeling at the sides. It hasn't made my room alter in temperature and I'd definitely recommend it!
Works! Great value
This HONLONE privacy film is fairly easy to place, as long as you follow their instructions. You are supposed to leave a layer of soapy water in between the film, but I wanted to see with just water what would happen so I tested a little section. With just water, it was awful, bubbles everywhere, impossible to squeeze out. I suppose the surfactant properties of the soap helps with achieving a bubble-free adhesion. It is my first time putting a film over my window, and it is easiest if you remove the window to do it (when possible). With the soapy water underneath, it does slide around for a bit, you just leave it and it settles in. The film is easy to remove as well, and it works, you can't peer in from outside unless you stick your nose to the window. The only drawback is, the room is noticeably darker from the film, wish it were lighter.
Works good but tricky
Ordered this as a privacy Film and darkener.It works like it supposed to..once installed you literally can't see through from outside..it's a reflection due to being one sided.Installing I found tricky because you need to remove the protective film while holding and applying it to the window..think of it as juggling.It's great stuff and works perfectly once installed.Decent value.
