5.0 out of 5 stars It approached 12" in two days of airing out.
The mattress is really comfortable and nice. It beat my expectations on bed in box mattresses. It took about 2 days to have the pillowy top look. At first it was only 11" high but within 2 days it fluffed to 12". I am very satisfied. Read the instructions; it's simple and all will go well. Also reading other reviews really helped to not get knocked off when it expends. So far the claim is spot on, it's 12" high, medium firm, and very comfy. I got this especially because edges have firmer springs. Make sure you make note on the edges of other hybrids. You do not want to be sliding out of bed when not intended!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price
The firmness is perfect along with just enough plushness. A Few years ago I was involved in a car accident that resulted in a spinal fusion surgery and every bed I have slept in since has caused me pain upon waking up for the day. This mattress however is different. I have slept on the left side over a month now and it hasn't sunk in and it is still as firm as it was brand new. My back doesn't hurt. I sleep most of the night granted my cat doesn't wake me up.There was no smell or odor that I could detect. It's just what I needed and and I'm very happy with this bed.
1.0 out of 5 stars Hard yet excessively bouncy
This mattress is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever owned. It is more than firm; it is hard and my arms go numb from nerves getting pinched against the mattress at night. Somehow, despite being hard, it is so ridiculously bouncy and I feel every movement my bed partner makes, akin to an air mattress. We salvaged it by adding a mattress topper but that sort of negated the price of the bed.I guess for heat control it's not as bad as memory foam, but it's so uncomfortable otherwise that I don't think the temperature improvement over memory foam is worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars comfortable matress
I recently purchased the Queen Mattress in a Box, and it's been a game-changer for my sleep quality. The 10-inch hybrid design, featuring gel memory foam, provides the perfect balance of medium-firm support and comfort. The breathable, cooling properties keep me comfortable all night, evenduring warmer weather. The mattress arrived conveniently in a box and expanded quickly with no chemical odor. After a few nights, I noticed a significant reduction in back pain, and I wake up feeling refreshed. Overall, this mattress offers exceptional quality and value for a great night's sleep!
4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad
The mattress is ok. It’s not too bad but it’s not great either. I’d say it’s something that is just getting us by for the price. It’s also a bit springy too if that makes any sense.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable
The only thing I didn't like is that I thought the bed was vacuum sealed in a seperate bag. Instead, it was rolled up tightly in the type of strong plastic wrap that is used to wrap the outside of pallets. I had it on the floor and I started cutting the wrap with the cutter they supplied. I was anticipating placing the mattress on the bed after removing what I thought was just the outer wrapping. I was panicking when I saw the mattress starting to expand on the floor. I have issues lifting heavy things since my recent surgery. Luckily, a family member was there to help me put it on the bed. Other than that, I let it completely do "it's thing" for 48 hours. It looked like it was ready to be slept on right away, but I didn't.I cannot discern any smell especially with freshly laundered sheets. When I first get into bed, the mattress feels a bit bouncy, but when I lay on it, it feels very comfortable. I would say the firmness is around a medium to medium firm. My last mattress was softer, so I can feel the difference. I have had two nights of practically uninterrupted sleep. I really like this mattress. I now look forward to going to bed at night. With my last mattress, I put off going to bed until very late because it had become so uncomfortable. These last two days I have even slept in because I'm comfy. Also, I haven't felt any achiness when I get out of bed. It's amazing what a difference a comfortable mattress makes.I bought this mattress during Bolo Prime Days, and it was only $185.00, plus I clicked for an additional $5.00 off. I'd say I got more than my money's worth, even if it only lasts a few years. To be honest, paying so little, I don't expect it to last more than five years, but it's so worth it to me right now.
5.0 out of 5 stars Super comfortable
No smell, correct inches , super comfortable, ,good support
2.0 out of 5 stars Not that great
This mattress has overhyped reviews-that's for SURE. We usually get the LUCID mattresses off Bolo and are always REALLY happy with that brand - however they have gone up in price from when we originally bought them, so I figured I'd try this brand. Welp- that was a mistake. The Acochey mattress *looks* like it would be comfortable, we bought a full, I weigh ~130lbs 5'3 and my husband weighs ~180lbs 5'8 and we were both rolling/sinking into the middle quite frequently. It's okay for comfort, but for the extra money I'd splurge and go with the Lucid- still cheaper than a box store but the Lucid is way more comfortable without that rolling-into-eachother feeling.
