It takes almost no time to put it together. So the fun is coming soon after you open the box. It also seems very stable. My 4yo daughter loves going around it.

I ordered this to set up in the garage for my kiddos (aged 8, almost 9y, and my 11y) to play on. The assembly was not as difficult as I initially imagined it would be, especially since my s/o took on one side while I did the other - so that definitely sped it along. The height is simple to adjust and the key + screw lock work great to keep the setting in place! Once it was fully assembled it does indeed look exactly how it's shown in the product images. My daughters aren't currently in gymnastics, but I wanted to encourage more (Off Screen) activities/hobbies, and thus far they've loved using this. It seems quite sturdy, and the materials were well made. I of course hung from it first to try it out, which was just fine. I imagine it'll last us a long time so long as it isn't exposed to too much moisture. We live in FL which is why I opted for my enclosed garage, as I didn't want the humidity and elements to eat it away before its time.

We got this to expand to 63 inches, not 65. And it's labeled for up to 16 year olds, but I don't see how they would when it only goes to 63 inches. It is sturdy and it will work for littler kids. But not your taller kids.

We have an olympic grade gymnastics bar that we were gifted from a gym that closed. Comparing this bar to that, it is significantly more lightweight and smaller, however, there is a big difference in the weight this is rated for vs the larger olympic sized one. I think this is quite perfect for younger gymnastics enthusiasts who are still learning and working on basic skills and form. The smaller size and ease of moving it around make this an affordable way to get some practice in at home on skills. Good value overall.
