5.0 out of 5 stars Can a pan be sexy? Because I think I’m in love!
Well, maybe it’s not sexy, but it is a beauty and it’s great to cook in! It pre-heats very quickly. A peel-off label on the pan states that it preheats in 90 seconds. It took longer than that for us, maybe an additional minute, but we only had the heat set on 3. Once we turned the burner up to 4, it really began to sizzle, yet didn’t overheat. We kept it at that level and it maintained a consistent temperature and evenly distributed heat throughout cooking.The nonstick surface wasn’t just sparkly and pretty, it was smooth as silk and the food glided effortlessly across it with very little oil in the pan. The manufacturer suggests using a little bit of oil or butter, and frankly I would do that anyway because I like food that actually tastes good! I never use cooking oil spays though; they’re bad for nonstick cookware and your health.This was my first ever GreenPan and so far I’m very impressed, plus I love that it’s free of the harmful chemicals that are in my older nonstick cookware. We’ve only used this pan once, so I can’t attest to its durability yet, but if it doesn’t hold up well I’ll be back to update this review. I intend to follow the care and use instructions booklet it came with so I can extend its useful life as long as possible. While it is dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended. I absolutely hate washing dishes, but this nicest and highest-priced pan I’ve ever used, so I want to take better care of it.After handwashing it, the stainless steel exterior dried with some water spots/streaks so I will probably wipe it dry instead of air drying next time. The nonstick surface still looks as pristine as it did before use. I uploaded some post-use photos, but the lighting in my kitchen isn’t great. I forgot to take pre-use photos to show how beautiful it looked before cooking, so you should probably just buy one so you can see it for yourself. I don’t think you’ll regret it!

Heavy, well built, great non-stick, cleans easy, no issues with throwing it in the dishwasher. Heavy rivets and a nice smooth handle. Takes a bit longer to heat up due to the thickness, but there is no warping. I’ve got 4 of these, and they’re worth it and they last. For the price these pans are worth it. Pics are after using it for a few weeks.
