I followed the directions for pairing, and connected to my phone in about 15 seconds or less. I've been using it outdoors while chopping wood, and the volume is not too loud to worry about blowing out the tiny speaker, and not so quiet that I'd have to switch back to headphones. If I had to guess, I'd say the volume is about 1.5 times that of my phone or maybe double. I had been taking a much larger and expensive blue tooth speaker outside and worrying about it getting wet or lost. This is a simpler and even more convenient alternative since it clips right onto my belt. I'm not worried about bothering the neighbors. A very nice, small speaker with just enough power for my own use. And I've been charging it with USB-C which are the norm for most phones and electronics, so I don't have to worry about getting or finding the right cord (though one came with it, but since its the same, I just use what I already have.) Charges fast. Its very lightweight, doesn't weight down my belt or jeans pocket. The clip seems nice and durable. I like the bright yellow as well, stands out when in the woods or outdoors unlike some black which gets lost in dirt or rocks. Very simple, powered just right... very good product for the price. I'll probably buy this again for a gift for someone in my family.

I'm a carpenter currently working on a dynamic project that requires constant movement on a large campus. Lugging around my other dewalt Bluetooth speaker was not going to be practible, and i dont care fir ear buds. This speaker is perfect for what it is. I was blown away how good it sounds, for a teensy tiny speaker. Holds a charge all day, works flawlessly our of the box. I'll still hold on to my larger dewalt BT speakers, but this one will stay with me all the time. Update. I've been using this for a few months now, and it's been working flawlessly. I work on a lot of jobs where music is forbidden, ear pods included. Inexplicably, I never get hassled wearing this little gem. This is the perfect gift for your fellow brothers in the trades. It's so damn convenient to use, dummy proof, durable and good sound.

This is a great Bluetooth speaker. It connects easily to my iPhone and stays connected. It clips on so it is out of my way and easy to access when I need to. I like being able to hear my music clearly while working and not miss a call either. The controls are easy to use. The speaker is very clear and others say I sound clear as well. It is built to be rugged and withstand the work enviroment.

I love this thing. I'm in construction so my surroundings can get pretty loud with saws, drills, trucks...etc. I just hang it on my pocket or tool belt and I hear the music loud and clear. Calls are ok but not great. If the speaker is close to my face it's definitely similar to having your phone on speaker talking. If it's on my belt or pocket, you kind of have to talk louder for the other person to hear you. They do sound pretty clear though. Either way, the main reason I bought this was to have music playing and the Bluetooth not cut out when I walk away from my radio which this goes everywhere you do so for that purpose, it's perfect. This is also about $30 cheaper on Bolo the at the depot so theres that. Also, the battery life is great. I'll get a whole day of work or fishing on the kayak with it no problem. It also tells you battery life when you turn it on. Not % but it'll say "battery high" "battery medium"...etc which is definitely convenient. It also charges super fast. I haven't timed it but it's shut off on me from dying and an hour or so later it's green and saying high again. For what it is, it's great and it is water resistant/proof also. I have a lot of DeWalt stuff and I've always been satisfied, this speaker is no different.
