Well packaged, and good quality. I am happy with the paint, and I painted a garden turtle on a rock from the creek right after I opened the box. I will enjoy using these paints and have a few more projects in mind.

I got this set of acrylic paints because my daughter took a class where she learned to use them. I figured she should have some at home to practice with since she was very enthusiastic about the class.As expected, there are 24 paint bottles in the set. There were two labels that differed from the color names listed on the page but the colors look similar enough: “Orange yellow” was just Orange on the label, and “Compose Blue” was Cyan.The seals were really hard to remove from several bottles. Some were so difficult I had to poke them with the end of a pair of scissors to get it started. It was strange because there were others where they peeled off with hardly any effort. A couple didn’t even seem to be fully sealed though there was no problem with the condition of the paint. Anyway, now that the seals are off it won’t be an issue anymore. The bottle tops close up and are effective in keeping the paint from leaking.I put down a few stripes of the black paint on some paper and let those stripes dry out to test the paint’s opacity. For each color I loaded up the brush, did a dab on the paper, and then reloaded the brush and ran it over the black stripe twice. Though the black stripe is still visible for pretty much all of them, I’m pleased with how effective the top layers were at covering the black for the most part. It can be harder to see the contrast on some of the lightest and the darkest colors (the latter mainly because they’re just so dark it’s hard to tell them apart from the black), but with such a good start on each one I’m sure you could get good coverage by building up layers of color.There are two metallic paints in the set: gold and silver. They add a lovely sheen to the page and can be applied in thin layers if you just want to add a little shine to a color.I’m happy with the set and am sure my daughter will enjoy using these paints to make some new art at home. I can’t speak to how they’d compare to professional level paints but I’d definitely be happy to use them for my own occasional amateur painting as well.

I got this set for acrylic pouring and it does work well when mixed with a medium. However, these paints are really thick and the colors seem a bit off? Difficult to get out of the bottles. Also, the seals on these are no joke! The other reviewers were not exaggerating. It's ridiculous.

This set of paints looks as pictured, lots of colors. It dries fairly quickly and seems of normal quality. Works well for my painting projects.
