I got this magnetic tool mat set for the tools. The mats securely hold tools and they're the easy-to-clean mats. But only the big one is more useful.

I like to do my own car work whenever I can, and there are always a bunch of screws and nuts that have to be removed and, above all, not lost or dropped on the floor. These are great for this, you can lay them on the fender or another ferrous metal surface. Also, they are good for holding the sockets and other tools to have them handy. The pickup tool is good for when you miss the mat and drop the screws and nuts.

These magnetic pads are nice, they are quite strong and will stick to any metal surface. The telescoping magnet is nice as well if you happen to still drop something

I just changed the evap purge valve on my car, and these magnetic mats came in very helpful. The mats stuck to the car body under the hood, so I was able to place screws and tools on them so that I could keep all the metallic parts in one place. The three different sizes are good for different areas depending on how much working space is available.I've used magnetic pickup tools before and know how valuable they can be when a screw, etc. is dropped in a hard-to-reach area, so I'm excited to have this tool. It extends to nearly three feet. The magnet is strong enough to pick up an item off the magnetic mat, i.e. it's stronger than the mat.Although I'll probably use them mostly for setting parts on when doing projects, they also work well for organizing tools, parts, etc.

I got this for my husband as we are doing a lot me improvement projects right now. This is a cool way of keeping all the screw and tools on hand and not slipping away. I was also impressed that it came with a telescopic magnetic wand - so useful when you drop something in a tight space, or I guess to just pick up without bending over. This wand is also significantly thicker than previous ones we've had, which I think will be much more durable. Our kids will try to steal this as a magic wand of sorts, so we have to keep it hidden away. Overall, the magnets work great and it’s a great tool and accessory.Update - my husband is a pro comic artist and has started using the narrow pad as a pen holder on his drawing board.

I didn't have high hopes for this item and expected it to have little to no pull or not much function. Works well stuck to my tray I drag around and hangs on to things pretty well. Curious to see how it holds up and how it cleans up when it inevitably gets dirty.
