4.0 out of 5 stars Good budget keyboard, decent software, poor sound

    K.N. · September 19, 2024

Get this if you want to mod a hot swappable budget keyboard. For the price, you really can't find too many others that can compare. It's not bad, but not game changing in any way. ABS chassis, stiff flex, and stabilizers rattle. It could use some TLC, and if you're up for adding some mods and lube, it'll sound and feel really good. Specifically, tape mod, relube stabilizers and maybe lube the stock switches.Aside from that, I do enjoy the graduated colorway and the side printed legends that complement the RGB shine through. Not VIA/QMK compatible. Software is serviceable and not difficult to use. Interface is a little crowded but everything is categorized well and easy to use. I don't think you can even find the software on the AMZ page, so you'll need to google search for it and download it from a vendor.

5.0 out of 5 stars ATTRACTIVE linear KEYBOARD

    J. · October 12, 2024

I am pleasantly surprised with these linear switches. The keyboard is lightweight and easy to move around. The typing experience is really nice. The switches are good without hand lubing. The keycaps are shine through keycaps, which I appreciate. Lately almost every keyboard at this level does not include shine through. Overall, I am happy with this entry level keyboard. It’s good quality for the value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid linear keyb

    D. · July 23, 2024

I won't repeat what I feel has been said already. The keyboard is linear and feels incredibly smooth to use. No weighty clunk or hollow feel. Connects fast and keeps charged for longer than any situation I will need it for, charges back fast too. Swaps from bt to 2.4 to wired very fast as well. Software is more than I really need for a keyboard honestly, but more for those that want some involved macros. Also it cleans nicely. Looks very minimal but not in a prohibitive way. Easily swappable caps/mechs if you are into that too. Wasn't hard to tear down and tinker with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Made For The Long Haul

    R.f.R. · June 22, 2024

I am always looking out for a new key board this one is as versatile as they come. It is heavy very heavy for a key board. This one has the battery built in. It was so heavy I weighed it in cam in 2 oz. short of 2 lbs! Now what could it be? How to make something heavy? Most stuff depends on being filled with sand. But I don't think that is what is in this thing I think it must have a substantial metal frame; A heavier circuit board and a supersized big battery (compared to the 2 AAA batteries in each of my pile of dead and near dead key boards. Besides being heavy it is small too! No number pad and keys are tighter than I am accustomed to. The keys are smooth and soft, not slick and sticky. I am running on 2.4 mode after leaving it to charge all night. I have not figured out how to read the battery light. So far I have only seen it when I disturb the keyboard while it is plugged to a charger, solid red. That said I am not concerned at all. I have the feeling that this fully adaptable key board was made for the long haul battery time included. Touted as fully adaptable and able to fit most common switches if one fails you can change it. If you don't like the sound of feel change all the switches and the caps too can display your characters of choice. This is the reason I think the circuit board is thick. Each key switch is replaceable, each having its own connector. The tools to do switch swapping came with it along with a cable for a wired connection/charging. I found the back lighting necessary as a new key board has me checking finger positioning often plus without the lights the lettering of the keys is not obvious. With the dedicated app there are many more functions but I don't do apps unless my arm is thoroughly twisted. This key board is not hurting at all. It does not need an app and is exceeding my expectations without an app. Function keys, volume control, lights and connection capabilities are just working great. Happy acquisition.

5.0 out of 5 stars an excellent keyboard

    S. · July 8, 2024

I have a large collection of keyboards, ever growing. This is a fantastic addition, I'm not sure what the switches are, they look like grey or silver stems, I'd guess silver because they're linear. This is my first keyboard with silver switches so that's pretty cool. The RGB is bright and very smooth, it's obviously full rgb and the different patterns are nice. The keycaps are very nice, this is also my first production keyboard with side legends which is a nice departure from the norm. The caps have that really nice PBT grippyness and I'm a big fan of the color fade. This keyboard has almost no flex at all, which is pretty surprising given it's really tall layout. I don't know what other reviewers were mentioning when they called this clicky, it's one of if not the quietest mechanical keyboards I've ever owned. The internal padding is really doing an awesome job of taming the clack, especially noticeable to me as I'm a really heavy typer. Not needed by me but very welcome, there are 3 different options for the flip out feet, no foot, small foot or long foot. The volume knob just worked out of the box on my linux system. I haven't tested out the software but I've used similar in the past and it's nice to change the colors and such. For the money I think this is an outstanding value. This feels like premium product that will last for a long long time, and even if a switch goes bad, they're hot-swappable so you could just pop it out and replace it which is an area that would be nice for improvement. They could easily add a small handful of spare switches in case of accidental breakage.

Nice mechanical keyboard but key indicators hard to see

    J.K. · August 30, 2024

This 75% keyboard looks very slick with its black housing and grey gradient keys. The key indicators are on the front of the keys as opposed to up top, which is something new for me. They are a translucent white and are a bit hard to see against the grey unless the LED back light is on, especially the lighter grey keys towards the top. This will just take some getting used to, I am sure. The LED backlight is RGB and there are a ton of variations, patterns and colours you can setup to your liking. Included with this keyboard is a USBa to USBc cable, key cap removal tool, key switch removal tool, 2 spare switches and of course a manual. The keys have a nice mechanical feel without being overly stiff. Noise of operation is less than others I have used before as well. The keys are hot swapable, so you can change out the key switches with other units to change the key force and feel of the keyboard. You can also customize the keyboard by changing out the key caps. The provided tools make removal easy. The keyboard can be further customized via software, which I haven’t played around with very much yet. I like to keep things simple. However, it is very cool to be able to change things if you wish. I also really like the volume control on this keyboard. It looks cool and is very easy to use.Connection of this keyboard can be done wirelessly via Bluetooth or dongle or you can connect it directly with the provided cable, which is also how you charge the onboard 4000 mAh battery. I have been using the latter so that the keyboard always has power but all modes connect flawlessly. Simply move the selector on the side of the keyboard to the desired connection method and setup on your computer. Hidden underneath the left foot in a small slot you will find the wireless adapter for your USB slot if you want to connect that way. The feet are actually doubled up, one inside the other, so there are three angles available. I like a bit of angle so I have been keeping it setup with the short feet.Overall this is a very nice mechanical keyboard. It connects easily, works well and looks sharp. It will just take some time to get used to the key indicators. The regular price seems a little high at $119.99 but there is a 20% off coupon available at the time of this review, which brings it down to a more reasonable price.

    Comfortable typing experience

    B.J. · September 9, 2024

Typing on this keyboard has been a surprisingly comfortable experience. The flexible PCB adds a softness to keystrokes, making long sessions more enjoyable. Sound dampening is effective, reducing noise significantly. Customizing the switches is straightforward, catering to different preferences easily. The control knob is a nice touch, adding a modern element to the design. Connectivity is solid, though there were occasional minor issues with the wireless connection.

Nice, Bright RGB and Feels Great Typing and Gaming on This Keyboard

    J. · August 29, 2024

This keyboard replaced a 75% keyboard. While this is slimmer than that keyboard, it's bigger than a 60^% keyboard and the perfect size for me.The wireless / bluetooth works flawlessly with no lag.Excellent battery life. The lights are bright and colourful. They are fully hardware, not software customizable but I have left it on the default setting because it looks really nice. There is no key rollover, I assume it has end key rollover which is a good feature. The keyboard feels and sounds nice with keys that are linear and smooth with no tactile bump. They are not clicky keys but the keys are fully hot swappable if you want different switches.I'm extremely happy with these switches though so I won't be swapping them. The keyboard itself seems to be very well built and solid and is not super flexible or bouncy. For the price, there's tons of value in this keyboard and it replaced a more expensive, highly rated one.I definitely recommend it!

Can't get over how good this keyboard is

    M. · October 16, 2024

The switches are less on the creamy side, they are more thocky but sound and feel amazing. This keyboard looks and feels absolute quality and for the price I was shocked! I wasn't expecting much but this exceeds it. It also has a lovely weight to it. Gorgeous keyboard.

    Great quality

    M. · August 6, 2024

As per usual of these types of keyboards, it doesn't include a numpad which is a little disappointing, but it does have its good points. I do wish the price were cheaper but the quality is solid to make up for the size. It seems like silver switches and they do feel like it. With that in mind, this isn't a "clicky" keyboard so if you're into those you'll have to look elsewhere. I prefer it like this since I'm in calls often and clicky keyboards are just way too loud. Not only is it on the quiet end though, I do like that the keys are very comfy and easy to use. They don't have a strong resistance so the keys are smooth all the way through. With that said, they may be missing the tactile feel that some prefer on keys with more resistance. Now, as a gaming keyboard, they did include backlit RGB to the entire board so it looks great especially when it's dark out. They're also doing a popular design right now with the side legends showing on the south. It takes a little bit of getting used to but I like it. Luckily, the switches are hot swappable too if you ever want to something different.Again, I do wish it were a little cheaper, but this is pretty much the norm for fancier keyboards. I do think it's great quality and everything feels like it's made to last. The keyboard feels durable and doesn't flex easily even when I put in some force. Overall, if you like the design and quieter switches, this is a solid choice for a keyboard.
