5.0 out of 5 stars Fender works just fine
I compared this fender next to my friends Bose. Very similar volume. Close. More than what i expected from a $120. Unit. It fills the bedroom with good quality sound. Im pleased with my purchase. I would highly recommend. Good job, Fender
5.0 out of 5 stars Surprised
Ordered this by mistake,But you know what, can't be happier, perfect for my need, sounds good,so no complaints.
4.0 out of 5 stars Full Sound from a small package.
The build quality seems solid and the sound is full given the speakers size. I wish the provided charging cord had a standard USB connection on one side as all my power sources require a standard connector. I had to buy another cord to.charge the system.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent sound for the price
I'm actually surprised at how good the sound is for a tiny little speaker under $100. I'm very pleased.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good sound
The speaker has worked very good so far.
5.0 out of 5 stars Literally Best speaker in its size class
The media could not be loaded. I have a lot of speakers from Bose, Sonos, Klipsch and soundcore... This speaker out of the box has a lot of bass, but with power amp equalizer software I have this thing pumping more sound than I've ever heard from such a small speaker. If you don't get the app it's no big deal it's still very worth the money. Very high quality materials and simple to navigate between the modes. Will definitely be buying the bigger version and the amplifier speaker from them soon😁

4.0 out of 5 stars Very directional treble, overall decent tuning, a bit mid and mid bass focused.
First of all, the build quality and packaging are all top notch. This feels premium and it's attractive. For $130 this is "okay" sounding. It has basically the same power / volume and range as the $130 Sony Ult1. Using a frequency generator, they both have bass response down to roughly 55hz. Standing against the wall opposite them playing at 75% volume I can hear the deeper notes and the bass is the same loudness on those deeper frequencies. They differ in overall tuning though. The Teufel sounds more mid bass and mid boosted. If you aren't sitting on axis directly in front of the speaker it loses a ton of treble and clarity quickly whereas the Sony Ult1 keeps it's treble dispersion much more evenly. Voices and acoustics sound okay on the Teufel but can get a bit boomy at higher levels whereas the Sony sounds way more natural and open. The Teufel has less useful volume steps especially at lower volumes. The Sony keeps much more of it's bass at lower levels than the Teufel. It's really at mid volume that the Teufel comes alive.Overall I would definitely go with the Sony over the Teufel. You don't have to be worried about being directly on axis to get all of the treble. The Sony just sounds more impressive and open / clear. They both have the same footprint and weight, and straps to hook to bikes / bags and such.I would make another recommendation though to get more for your money. For the same price of $130, you can get the LFS Soundstorm. It's bigger, a little heavier, but you are getting massively bigger sound as well. The LFS Soundstorm is a mini boom box. It has deep loud bass down to 50hz, gets way louder, is a bit too bright but I would prefer that to muffled any day, has bright lights and just makes the Teufel and the Sony sound like toys. The Teufel isn't bad, it's just not great either.
Skip it!
The treble at higher volumes seems to drown out and the bass is almost non-existent if you’re listening more than few meters away from the device. It does get loud for a small room, about ~78db at full volume in my testing. It does have a warm sound which is good to hear at medium volumes. Compared to its competitors within the same price bracket I’d suggest you opt out with this one.If your budget allows you, the Rockster Cross and Air 2 are AMAZING picks, especially with the Fender styling. It’s also worth mentioning they are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL to looks at!I haven’t used the original GO to compare its improvements so I’m assuming the battery on full volume must’ve lasted a little over couple of hours at max.For now I’d keep it as an alternative solution for my MacBook Air’s speaker, the inbuilt speakers on this laptop do sound like a 150ml tin can TBH.
