4.0 out of 5 stars Helps Keep My Plants Alive
It was easy to put together. For my plants, I let them dry out and then water them when I stick my finger in the dirt and it feels dry. However, I think thy like these pots better than the way I water them, because the rope wicks the water to their roots. They seem happier (for those of you who are plant parents, you understand what I mean). The reason I gave it four starts instead of five is because the "watering lip" can be removed - it's not permanently attached. The problem with that is if you have playful cats like mine or a curious toddler, that watering lip will be removed and lost. I'll probably find it in a year, but until that time, I'll have to use a watering can with a skinny spout to add water to the reservoir. I guess I can borrow one of the watering lips from the other two pots to fill up the reservoir; I just wish I thought of that for the last 2 months of owning these pots 🤦♀️.
5.0 out of 5 stars DID NOT DISAPPOINT
Absolutely love everything about these planters….the color, height, width. And it self waters, too. What’s not to like about them!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Love, love, love these
Prevents root rot for beginners or people who tend to struggle with calculating how much water the plant actually needs. I Water mine daily, but as you can see, my pots are quite crowded. Great quality, convenient lip to assist with guiding stability for the pace at which is the most ideal for the plant to be watered, while also allowing you to visibly see the water level.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking pot assortment
It's a nice assorted different size pots to show off my plants
5.0 out of 5 stars nice
works as expected, nice for thirsty plants
4.0 out of 5 stars I like them.
So far so good. I planted a couple of cacti along with another hot weather plant into the medium pot. It's been sitting on my pathway during record Phoenix, AZ heat. You might be able to see a dead cactus in the small pot next to the self watering pot. I'm not sure if this is an indication of how well the self watering pot works or if there's a lot more water absorbing soil in the self watering pot. The water evaporates fairly quickly but it has been a record warm Phoenix weather. I imagine that indoors, the water would last a week or two. The pots are made of a pretty sturdy plastic material. Definitely sufficient for the typical house plant. After a month in the sun, the pot is showing no signs of fatigue yet. Overall, I would say that these do what is advertised and I really like them.
