I like this when I don’t use a thermos to keep my coffee or tea hot. I will say, as compared to a thermos, putting something too hot in a thermos it’s just overly hot whereas if you use a mug and a heated plate, it keeps your beverage hot but not to where it’s too hot to sip on without burning your mouth. I like the timer options for safety, and convenience. I also like the temperature settings, since I do prefer really hot drinks, but it’s flexible with temperature so you can set based on preference. I like keeping this on my work from home desk and also used to have one on the office prior. These are always a good option.

The warmer works and it’s easy to use. Very simple touch screen on/off and temperature change. I was disappointed to read that it needed to be used with their mug provided or other glass or metal flat-bottomed mugs. Unfortunately, the majority of my mugs are ceramic and the bottoms aren’t flat. I tried my own mug just to see, and sure enough it did not warm. When I used the mug included with the warmer, it kept my coffee warm for the entirety of use. So, if you’re cool using a lame boring black metal mug, or you have your own similar mugs, this will do the trick. I will keep pouring my coffee in my beautiful ceramic mugs.

I got this as a multi-use warmer, as I wanted something this size for melting wax for candle making.It tops out at 176° which works great on beeswax.It should be known that the most of the base gets really hot, including it’s underside, it started to heat deform a plastic cutting mat it was sitting on. So keep that in mind when your using it, it needs to sit on something heat resistant.It came with its own cup, which is nice, it’s pretty small, like I don’t think I’d forget to drink such a small amount of coffee or tea😂If you use your own cup, keep in mind that it will make the whole cup really hot, and burning your fingers or lips on the outside is a possibility if you’re not careful.It’s functions are simple and straightforward, it’s super easy to use.

All the time my morning cup of tea used to get cold as I begin my work day. This amazing Maestri coffee warmer prevents that. It is perfect to sit on my desktop and keeps my tea warm. There are multiple settings so my tea is never scalding but just right. The mug which comes with it has a lid to prevent evaporation in case I get disrupted with a long phone call. The mug is also specifically designed to fit this warmer with a flat bottom for greater contact and thus better heating. It is easy to use. I like the fact that it can be turned off and on, and temperature adjusted. But it is warm when turned on and will burn if one is not careful - just a warning of caution.
