Pros:-Quiet-Has a little light you can have on or off-Puts out a large amount of cool mist, quickly-Easy to fill the reservoir-Adjustable levels of mist output-Compact and light-Fairly cuteCons:-The user manual says for problems to contact customer support (page 16), but neither page 16 nor any other place I could find says how to contact customer support-I can't find any clear information online about how to contact customer support for this weird little no-name brand. So if you pass the Bolo return window and something happens to this humidifier, you might be out of luck.

Been using this for a while, and when I first started using it I noticed an audible difference from the previous machine. This one was noticeable noisier and had a high pitched whine to it. I think it’s gone away in time, but every so often I recognize the whine a little. I do like the simple adjustable control knob, makes it easy to use, even for my kiddo. The blue led is a bit strong for a dark room, but can always be covered with a bit of electrical tape if it’s distracting, it’s not bad enough for me to do anything about it at this point.

I've needed a humidifier for years especially in the winter months where my heating really dries up the air in my bedroom. This device knocked it out of the park in all aspect with a huge reservoir capable of lasting well over a day and a cool mist released that doesn't raise the temps in your room.Build Quality - The device came well packaged professionally and is made with that same care and quality with several warning labels and a thorough instruction manual and spells everything out for you.Performance - This baby is dead silent! At MAX settings it really churns out the humidity making a barely noticeable gurgle but if you keep it in the 40 to 60 percent range as suggested in the manual it's almost mute. The LED light button turns the water tank light on or off which allows you to keep track of water level even in a dark room without being much bother however if you need zero light then you could easily turn it off. The ON light however is a steady blue always active while the unit is operating and unfortunately it does have some intensity to it though I can understand how this is necessary to prevent you from forgetting to turn it off since it's so quiet they could maybe still angle the LED upward or offset it in the housing so it isn't such a direct beam.TLDR - Don't hesitate to grab one of these as they are wonderfully made units and the only gripe is the front LED which you can solve by just turning the unit slightly to not directly face where you sleep etc.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good output for its size, but sound level isn’t what I anticipated
This Hocydaoder 2.0L Quiet Ultrasonic Humidifier has a decent output for its size, and it’s straightforward to fill/use/clean. Its appearance is accurately depicted in the product pics — maybe not as sleek as some but certainly okay. I found two things though with its sound level: first off, it generates an audible frequency that is much more noticeable than another ultrasonic humidifier I use regularly, different than (and much more intrusive/annoying than) a typical fan motor. It’s noticeable enough that my spouse with sensitive ears can’t tolerate it in the room for any prolonged period. Second, there is a frequent but irregular drip sound, every 5-10 seconds or so, which I can try to imagine is trying to simulate a babbling brook or fountain but honestly it reminds me most of a dripping faucet. So with that sound profile I can’t use this in my bedroom at night or in a similarly quiet location… for me it only works at locations where those sounds won’t be problematic.So for me it’s a pretty good humidifier but with a sound profile that requires me to keep it in use in environments that don’t need to be super quiet.

Delivery on this was very quick, and it was well packaged.I am setting up a small grow room, to winter some of my plants, and I wanted to be able to control the humidity.. It is the size of a small closet, so this will be perfect. This humidifier only holds about a half gallon of water.. It has a 24V DC power supply, included, a volume control, and light switch.Simple, you fill it up, plug it in and twist the control nob. There is a small light on the inside of the tank, that must be so you can observe the water level. This light can be switched off.The instructions are are very clear, I followed them and this started sending out water vapor instantly. The more you turn the knob, the more vapor you get. I was very impressed how silent this was. Only a low pitched hum. I think the price was reasonable, and I like the small profile.

Pros: large tank, works for hours, easy to use.Cons: not silent (it isn't loud, but it's louder than I thought it would be), smells a little weird the first few uses, and, the biggest con for me, is there's a light when it's on that won't turn off.Seriously, the light is so annoying. I've been covering it with stuff, but I use it overnight. The light is pretty bright in a dark room and messes with my ability to sleep. Covering it works, but it's a serious design flaw in my opinion.

This little machine is awesome! I did a test run after using it for a couple of days and definitely noticed how much dried the air was without it! The controllable flow of the Mist portion is great and the nightlight is amazing!
