My 14 year old loves his new football

So, I live in one of those kind of neighborhoods...the guy across the road road the school bus with my kids...and I rode the school bus with the guy across the road's mother...at the same bus stop, and now the guy across the road's kids ride the same school bus at the same bus stop.I have the bigger yard, it having been a farm when I was riding that school bus, so the boys have always been welcome to play here - we're at the end of a dead end road with next to no traffic, as it has always been. My grand lives here half the time, so she and the boys play and they've joined the football team.So this ball is just perfect. It allows them to play football farther into the dusk. I know it says it's for kids 14-16, but it works great for kids in elementary and middle school, too. It gets them out of the house for longer and helps make childhood fun, like it should be. My problem is getting them to remember to bring it in for recharging. The one problem is my grand's dog is starting to think it's HIS toy.

A light up football is the perfect gift for young and old who enjoy playing football into the night. This adult-sized light up football includes a pump for inflating it. Plug it in with its rechargeable feature and you will have 30 minutes of play time. Once the football is in play, it will light up for 60 seconds. One downside is you will have to recharge it after about 30 minutes. Good thing to do at “half time” to take a break and get some cold beverages or snacks. Great gift and backyard fun.

Bought this for a friend’s son for his 10th birthday. He loved it and plays with it more than his new game system. He takes it with him everywhere he goes and gets asked where he got it. Best money I have ever spent on a gift!

It's great! I got it for my nephews who are around 14-15. My daughter who is 14 plays with them. It comes with an air pump so I aired it up for them, took the tab out, and it immediately glowed! They had a blast with it. It's an official size, so I play with them sometimes as well. You have about a minute till the light goes out, and with every small tap, it turns back on. After about 30 minutes it goes dead and you have to charge it. But it's really fun. I recommend it!

This glow in the dark football is pretty cool. It is an official sized ball so it can be used for adults as well as older kiddos. It comes with it's own pump that has it's stem stuck into a spot near the top handle. I was able to easily inflate the ball in just a few minutes and was pleased that it didn't have any strong smells when opened. I pulled the light tab and it glowed immediately. The glow lasted about a minute and then blinked off. With a little impact on the ball it lights back up again. It has a rubbery feel with good bounce and raised faux laces. I love that it is waterproof for playing in the rain or while floating with a group in the lake to keep those kids entertained. The charging port took a little to master, but doable. It also has it's own backpack style drawstring bag for storage. It arrives boxed and makes a fabulous gift for anyone that loves to throw and catch a ball.

The perfect size (normal football). It was easy to inflate with the included pump and its simple to charge with USB c. It lights up great and is fun to play with when camping or later at night. The charge lasts a good amount of time. Lots of fun and very durable.

This Glow in The Dark Football is a nice and relatively quality product for the price, but be aware that it is huge like actual NFL regulation size. Very difficult for kids and most adults to manage. But if that's the size you're after it's a good ball. Good battery life, relatively bright glow and soft yet durable. There is a typo on some of the wording but not a big deal. Good buy.
Great football to play at dusk
Great idea; I love that it could be used at dusk in summer when the time is right to play football, but you cannot see it.The size is small for adults, of course.It is somewhat quite challenging to play in the dark, but now it is possible and fun.Pros:- nice colour- rechargeable- a pump is included- USB-C portCons:- no, so farAll in all, I recommend it as an excellent toy to play outside at dusk.
Takes football into the evening
I picked up this football for my kids and their cousins, who sunburn easily. Getting them outside during the heat of the day is challenging, but this lighted football has made playing sports in the evening more attractive. The football is standard sized, and recharges with a USB plug (cord included, but adapter not included). Took the kids a few minutes to figure out how to turn the light on, but after they did, it was a big hit. It's very nice that the ball comes with the inflating pump and needle - that really elevates this toy and makes it perfect as a gift, as the recipient can use it immediately.
Inconsistent Light-Up Feature and Tricky Charging Port

However, the light-up feature is a hit and miss. Sometimes it lights up, but other times it doesn’t, which is quite frustrating. I found it very tricky to get the cord into the charging port. Even after charging, the light didn't consistently activate, which made the feature unreliable.The football itself is a standard size and works well as a regular football. It has a nice rubber grip and feels durable. The kit comes with a USB-C charging cord, a mini hand air pump, and a carrying bag. Unfortunately, the pump that came with it broke before I even finished inflating the ball, so I had to use a different one.The charging process was another issue. I had trouble getting the charging cord to fit properly into the port. Once I managed to charge it to a green light, the light feature still didn’t work reliably. Sometimes I had to smash the ball against the ground to get it to light up, and even then, it was inconsistent.Despite these issues, the football was still enjoyable to use during the day as a regular ball. It is soft and doesn't hurt when caught, which is a plus for kids. However, the main selling point—the light-up feature—did not meet expectations.While the football itself is standard and functional, the inconsistent light-up feature and difficult charging process make it hard to recommend for those specifically looking for a glowing football. It could still be a fun toy for daytime use, but its nighttime functionality is unreliable.
Hard to pump up
The football seems larger than a normal football but that's ok.There is no on/off button that I could find. Once charged, it seems to light up when ever it is touched or there is contact with something.The largest negative was that it was too hard to pump up even using the provided pump and needle pump. As you can see in the picture, the way the ball arrived deflated did not allow the pump needle to be fully inserted.I did try to reshape the football to be better able to insert the pump needle but that was not possible.
