5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for walking pad
I currently use mine so that I can hold onto something because I am afraid to trip and fall on my walking pad. This gives me a safe feeling. My son has done dips and other exercises with these. It’s a great piece of equipment. Very solid.
5.0 out of 5 stars Gym equipment
A nice set of adjustable dip handles.
3.0 out of 5 stars Semi-durable
These were easy to set up and the height is easy to adjust. They work pretty well. However I do not believe they would hold the full weight capacity as advertised. They’re not super sturdy / stable once you’re actually lifting.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive for the cost
I was pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness and finish of the bars and only gripe I have is the foam on the bars which I'd prefer it bare with all the chemicals they put in the foam and the horrible smell it produces! Put it together in about 20mins and had to make a hole that didn't get punched out but other than that it was painless and well worth your hard earned money...5 star without the foam!
5.0 out of 5 stars A great product
When I saw this product, didn't think it twice. It's amazing. Just what i needed. The delivery was very fast also.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best dip station I've ever had!
I had 7 different dip stations in the past and this one is the best! The height goes up to 46 inches and it's very stable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, solid, versatile, customizable...
The media could not be loaded. Been out of the dip game for a while, ever since a bicep tendon injury and subsequent surgery sidelined me for about a year. A couple of years later I'm almost back to baseline, with the weights (almost 300lbs bench) but I was absolutely stunned to find that I can't do a single dip (or pull-up for that matter). I have a dip station that is one piece that was too wide and I had to alter it to make it work, but ive just never really liked the lack of customization in terms of adjustment that it lacks. So when I saw this dip station offered up, I thought I would give it a try.I do a little overview of the features and performance of the gear in my video. I erroneously stated in the vid that I thought this was rated at 300lbs, but the actual rating is 1200 lbs according to the description page and after using this I tend to believe it. These are basically parallel bars that share no connection at the base and are free to be moved at any width, angle, or height you may desire. They are heavy enough, with a stable enough base to feel very sturdy when mounting the bars, but light enough to be moved easily. They also nest for easy storage and space saving. The units go together easily with the supplied wrenches, although it would go a little quicker with your own tools, but it's really not necessary. The finish is a grey powdercoat that is smooth and consistent. The metal is smooth with no rough or sharp points or edges. They have heavy rubber feet to protect your floor. The bars raise and lower fairly easy and hold securely with the adjustment pins which you lock down by screwing down the knobs that you use to manipulate them. The bars are covered in some sort of neoprene foam that gives maximum grip and slip resistance even with sweaty hands. The only issue that I have with these bars is that it appears that a few of the holes in in one of the inner support beams are off, The just don't seem to line up, I go over this in the video, but it appears that the other three inner supports are a little hight than the one based on the amount of holes that are visible. However, the posts all lock securely, and the bars are parallel, and this doesn't seem to create an issue in the performance of the unit, so this is a minor issue. at this point,So I think this set of bars will serve me well to help me quickly get back to my fitness goals, and it will help me keep my place uncluttered due to how portable they are. This is a duarable, well made, cleverly designed set, and I definitely recommend it especially if you find value in body weight style strength training.
5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!! Impressively stable!!
WOW!! I honestly didn't think I was going to like these as much as I do. Awesome, awesome, AWESOME independent dip & leg lift bars! Absolutely love the quality of both the bars themselves as well as the exterior finish.Sturdy neoprene/rubber covers on both the upper dip bar hand holds as well as the lower push-up handles. Thick hollow square metal tubing. Large bolts. Nothing has a "cheap" or "flimsy" feel to it at all. Assembly took less than half an hour using mostly the two provided wrenches (I like my adjustable crescent wrench - sorry, I cheated - it can be assembled using only the tools provided).Once built, the bars are incredibly stable! And have a wide range of user height capability. For reference, I am 5'10" tall and weigh 205 lbs. My son is 6'1" tall. Both of us had zero issues with height playing around doing dips and straight leg pointed toes leg lifts (gotta point the toes or it doesn't count!). At the lowest setting, I was still able to do a full range bent knees dip. At the tallest setting, you can see that the bars are almost directly underneath my 5'10" tall armpits. And they are stable at maximum height as well!!Nine levels of adjustment. We put the bars down at level five and played around on them for the night. Fun, fun, FUN is the best way that I can describe them. My son and I loved them. Even my ex-gymnast soon-to-be 70 year old father was inspired & did a dip on them. Had no idea he could even still do that but he did! That's some dang good old man strength!!Lightweight and easy to move around. I highly suggest these for your home gym. Excellent, fun, attractive style of exercise! Challenge your friends and family to a dip-off and have some fun!!!
