I am using these on a battery box I am building out for the back of my truck. I was hoping the mounting plates would be a bit stronger feeling, but they are holding fine for now. The plastic seems like it would be brittle after a few years in some heat, so it is definitely the weak part of this kit.The actual connections are solid and fit well with other SB-50 cables I have.If the mounts do break in the heat, I will come back and update the review accordingly.

Never had a Anderson SB50 come without 10awg connectors. This pack only included 6awg. It's listed nowhere in the description.I'm sick of having to put off projects because of inaccurate descriptions. Raise your hand if you miss radio shack ✋
3.0 out of 5 stars Mounts certain to break, but usable connectors
These connectors mate up with others around the shop, but the mounts are made of hard, thin plastic and certain to break, especially in cold weather. The hinged covers should be made of rubber. The price is right on these, but the whole idea of Anderson connectors is ruggedness, and these do not fit that bill. I'll go 3 stars on first impression and value and see how ot plays out, but with the first broken component I'll be back to revise the rating.
Great Anderson connector, matches DC Specs.
When you are orderig Anderson connectors, first make sur you match the colours as they are made to be matched with the same. So a red won't fit a grey one etc. And now to address another point, an Anderson 50A is specifically built to carry up to 50A, and the Blue Sea recommandation chart for such is a 6 AWG size. Don't expext to be able to use 12 or 14 AWG in it. That would be a fire hazard. There is other Anderson connector for lower currents don't blast the seller for your ignorance.
