I got the horizontal and vertical versions of this OPEN sign because they were both so cute! I am in love with them. I didn't pull the backing plastic off, but the background is supposed to be clear. I love how bright and colorful it is. The sign is smaller than I expected, but it makes up for that in brightness and how cheerful it looks. The writing portion seems like a rubbery material. It comes with a small but sturdy looking chain that you can hook into the sign which has two small holes in it already. I like that the cord is white colored and has a switch further down on the cord so that you can turn the sign on and off easily.

I guess the other reviewer got a lemon, cuz mine arrived just fine. It's super bright and colorful, and looks great on my bedroom wall. Yeah, I don't use it for my store, because I don't have one, and you don't need to have one to enjoy this. It might not last long - I'm pretty sure all of these would break if you drop them from high enough - but while it lasts, it's a blast.

This sign cracked after being hung inside my shop after a couple of days and fell down and cracked completely in half on its own. These signs are very cheap and shoddily made.

This would be great for any small business or even for a man cave. Hanging in a window at my business gives it a more professional look compared to just a sign. It is bright enough to see during the day and its cable is long enough to reach the wall outlet. A wall block isn't supplied but I had some left over from previous tech purchases. Overall this is a great little sign for any business or man cave.

I love all the bright colors on this sign, it really catches your eye. The vertical writing also adds to the sign's attention grabbing looks and the white outline focuses the eye.The sign is powered by a USB-A cable that also as the sign control using the switch that lets you turn it on and off and make the sign brighter or dimmer.It's a great looking sign that doesn't ask for your attention, it just grabs it.
