5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
Easy to use. Easy to set up. Pairing took a minute, but has worked great since.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great For Flying!
When I fly and want to watch a movie on the seat screen, always having a cord with my earbuds is such a hassle - especially on the aisle seat and getting up and down and getting the cord tangled and untangled. So when I saw this bluetooth receiver I was excited to use it on my next trip. My wireless earbuds connected to easily. Battery lasted for a four hour flight each direction. Not sure how much battery is left but will charge before next flight. Great product.
4.0 out of 5 stars A little static but otherwise good
This is very convenient for watching tv when my wife is trying to sleep. The sound is good - I actually set the volume much lower than when not using this and it's as good or better than using my surround sound speakers. The only negative is the little bit of static you can hear when there's a pause in sound.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the long haul.
It held up during our 11 hour flight from France. Easy to use and pairing was seamless.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for flying. Battery life very good. Good quality sound. compact size.
I had a chance to use this on a recent flight and I'm really happy with the results. Had owned a Nulaxy FM transmitter in the past for a car and it never missed a beat with good sound quality, so I expected the same quality from their Wireless Audio Transmitter. Biggest issue was figuring out how to actually get it to work, because the words on the instruction manual are really small, so I zoomed in and took a photo of them on my phone camera before I left to make sense of what I was doing. So, like I said, I wanted to test these while flying because I'm not a big fan of the headphones that the airline provides for you, and I don't know how hygienic they actually are. I would just rather use my bluetooth earbuds. Once you've figured out the process, switched to TX mode, then into pairing mode and then pair, it instantly worked with the airline plug using the adapter provided. Good sound quality using it with my soundcore liberty 4''s. I never had any issues with the sound fading in and out, nor the audio being out of sync. No reason to doubt the battery as I used this on the going and coming back flight without charging and it held up. Where I found it really useful is with two people viewing the same device. I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and although it doesn't have a 3.5 inch jack, the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter I also have allowed me to connect to this wireless audio transmitter and two people can have their bluetooth earbuds connected to the same source at the same time, allowing them to watch what you're watching and in my case it was a tv show and a movie I had on my device with its 12.4 inch OLED screen which is frankly way better than the airline screen. So, if your partner wants to watch or listen to something you're watching and you've got a USB-C adapter for a device without a jack or a device with a 3.5 inch Jack, then this will work well. There's another mode called RX allowing you to send your phone audio or laptop audio to a device that doesn't have bluetooth. To be honest, all my devices are pretty up to date with bluetooth built in, so I don't have much use for this mode, but I'm sure others will.I wanted this product for a specific reason; to avoid the crummy airline headset with its subpar quality and because of sanitary reasons. You just don't know how often those headsets are cleaned and how many heads they've actually been on . This device solved that problem with the convenience of having no wires. I've got no complaints about the sound quality, the audio being in sync and the battery life, plus it's really compact. The initial setup was a bit confusing due to the manual being so small. That's about the only negative thing I can think of.
5.0 out of 5 stars I am very happy with the performance at a good price
I tested the Nulaxy bluetooth transmitter on a trip I took recently, and it worked great! I have a pair of Bose QC45 headphones, and the bluetooth is great when using my tablet or phone, but having to pull out the cable and be tethered to the seat is annoying. This transmitter fixes that problem. Is there lag? yes, at least with the Bose QC45 headphones. But it isn't all that much and you can only really notice it when there are people talking on the screen. After a little while I got used to it, and didn't notice it anymore. It is important to note, the lag is actually an issue with the headphones, not the adapter. The Nulaxy supports Aptx-LL codec which is designed for low latency, but my headphones don't support it, only the slower SBC codec. If you use this transmitter with headphones that do support Aptx-LL, then I would expect the lag to be unnoticeable. The Nulaxy has features that the more expensive adapters have such as being able to transmit audio to 2 pairs of headphones at the same time, and also the capability of acting as a bluetooth receiver. (I did not try the receiving feature as I only got this to transmit).Battery life was no issue on my ~9 hour flight. I do wish there was some battery level indicator, but it only has a low battery light and warning. I will just need to charge it up after every flight, which is what I do with my bluetooth headphones anyway. Finally, the included double prong adapter came in very handy. The flight I was on the other day, the headphone jack only put out audio into one ear in each jack. I was excited when I remembered I brought the included adapter, plugged it in and all fixed! So I needed to either use the airline provided headphones or, luckily, the included double prong adapter. I haven't had to use one of these kind of adapters in probably 2 decades, so I am glad I brought it with me.Overall, the Nulaxy transmitter worked great, and I am very happy with it. It has the same features as the "big name" competitors at half the price.
Convenient Bluetooth Adapter for Travel
I recently purchased the Nulaxy Air in-flight Bluetooth audio transmitter, and it has been a game changer for my travel experience. This adapter easily connects to the 3.5mm aux jacks on airplanes, allowing me to use my AirPods wirelessly. I love that it can connect to two sets of headphones at once, making it perfect for sharing music or movies with a travel companion. The setup was straightforward, and the sound quality is excellent. It’s compact and lightweight, so it fits easily in my bag. If you’re looking for a reliable way to enjoy audio on the go, I highly recommend this Bluetooth adapter!
Good Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver
The Nulaxy Air in-Flight Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter Receiver has several uses, one at home, one in a vehicle and another when taking an airplane.Receiver mode:Provides an easy way to send audio from a Bluetooth device (Smartphone, Tablet, Computer etc.) to non Bluetooth devices such as sound systems, portable speakers, TV’s etc. in your home, or car stereo system in your car, as long as you have a 3.5mm female phono input port on the device. For example, on a home sound system with no 3.5mm phono input port, use an adapter with RCA left/right male connectors to a 3.5mm female phono connector. Connect to the sound system input (AUX IN for example) and then connect the transmitter to the 3.5mm female connector. At home, this is what I do on my old analog sound system to stream music from my modern smartphone. In my van, I already have a 3.5mm phono input port (AUX IN), so this works perfectly to stream music from my smartphone to the audio system of the van.Transmitter mode:When traveling on a plane, I would prefer using my Bluetooth earbuds with noise canceling for audio when watching a movie on the airplane entertainment system, but this is not possible, as only wired headphones can be connected. This is now possible with this Nulaxy Air in-Flight Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter Receiver, simply connect it to the 3.5mm audio out port of the airplane entertainment system and pair the earbuds with the device, and you are connected.- Simple RX/TX Mode switch to select Receiver or a Transmitter Mode- MFB button to turn on/off the device- Green Light in Transmitter Mode, will flash automatically until paired with Bluetooth earbuds or headphones, and will then turn to a solid green light while in use. Turn off the earbuds or headphones and device will flash green waiting to pair again- Blue light in Receiver Mode, will flash until paired with a smartphone, tablet computer or other Bluetooth device. When audio is played, it will play on the connected device using the 3.5mm connector (on a sound system for example). If Bluetooth is turned off, light will flash blue waiting for a Bluetooth connection.USB-C charging port- The builtin 250mAh rechargeable lithium battery, recharges in approximately 2 hours, and provides 20 hours in Receiver (RX) Mode and 15 hours in Transmitter (TX) Mode- USB-A to USB-C charging cable includedA quick, easy and very useful way to add Bluetooth audio out or audio in, depending on the need you have.
FANTASTIC DEVICE - MULTIPLE USES - VERY HANDY !
REVIEW OF: Nulaxy Air in-Flight Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter/Receiver____________________________________________________________________________________________I've found this Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver very handy to have around. - It can serve as a Bluetooth "Receiver" - while connected to a stereo, power speakers etc tobetter hear music/sounds from your cellphone, tablet or etc. - It can also serve as Bluetooth "Transmitter" - while connected to an audio source (plugged into the sources earphone jack) and send audio to your Bluetooth speakers or Bluetooth earbuds or headphones ... or like the seller's example, the audio output jack found at your seat in an airplane. On a full charge it will work up to 20 hours in receiver mode and 15 hours in transmitter mode. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging - you have to supply your own power supply (which has a USB-A output). It also comes with a dual 3.5mm plug to single 3.5 stereo jack adapter so it can also be used on airplane seats that may still use the old two plug connectors for their headphone outputs. With or without the adapter it's great to be able to use your own Bluetooth earbuds/earphones on the airplane. PLUS you can pair it two separate earbuds/earphones at the same time so that your partner can listen along also on the airplane (or wherever) with their own earbuds/earphones !It is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. The module part is about the size of a box of wooden matches. Roughly 1.5" x 1.75" by about 1/2" thickThe instructions are VERY GOOD - much better than most I've seen lately.
Super travel device but you won't be doing Zoom meetings with it.
The Nulaxy Air in-Flight Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter Receiver is a super travel device that allows you to either:- connect bluetooth headphones or earbuds to a wired audio source (eg: airplane audio jack)- connect a wired speaker or sound system to a bluetooth source (eg: cell phone music files)It's compact, about the size of a book of matches, and comes with one of those two-prong airline adapters. You don't see that much anymore, but you might still come across this connection on an older aircraft. The best thing is being able to simultaneously connect TWO sets of bluetooth earbuds, so you can listen together with a partner, friend or colleague. And not just for AirPods -- these work with ANY bluetooth headset. Just make sure you know how to put each set of earbuds into pairing mode. I was able to connnect 2 pairs of earbuds and have both play at the same time.It comes with a little booklet with DETAILED instructions on how to set it up.You could also use it as a bluetooth reciever to allow you to connect a bluetooth source -- like music on a phone -- to a non-bluetooth sound system provided it has an audio input jack.Just a note: This is Transmit (Tx) OR Receive (Rx), but not both. If you were hoping to use your bluetooth earbuds for Zoom meetings via your laptop/desktop, you won't be able to both hear and speak using this device.
Excellent for airplanes or old stereos without Bluetooth!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted one of these for future airplane use, now that some of the airlines allow Bluetooth headphones. At the same time I also ones a Bluetooth receiver to connect to the line in of my old stereo receiver. It's great that this has both transmit and receive capabilities! Just by toggling a switch you can switch it to either mode! When I opened the box I was happy to see that it was very compact, which is great for travel. You can just pop it into a backpack, purse, etc. It comes with a 3.5mm male plug built in, and an airplane 2-prong adapter is also included in the package. On the unit itself there is a single LED to indicate charge or Bluetooth connectivity state. There is a single power on/off button (long press), which also doubles as the Bluetooth pairing button (double press). You can also find a slider switch to put it into receive or transmit mode. Finally on the other side there are volume adjusters. It really reminds me of something Apple would make.I charged it up before first use. To test it I tried the receive mode first on an old iPhone dock that has a line in port. I put it into pairing mode and it showed up on my phone as "BT102". Pairing was super quick and easy! After I was able to stream music from Bolo Prime Music without any issues! Range was good. I was able to go 15-20 ft away without issues. Sound was also good out of the speaker dock.I then tried transmit mode. For this I plugged the unit into my phone's headphone jack (yes it still has one!). The transmitter supports a lot of the various low latency codecs (aptx, etc). I put it into pairing mode and I put my Bluetooth ear buds close to the unit (per instruction manual), also in pairing mode. My headphones paired right away (the unit talks and tells you it's paired!). After that I was able to play music through this dongle to the headphones! Note I turned Bluetooth off on my phone to do this test. Another note, I did at first experience some static. After I wiggles the cable into my headphone jack a bit, the static went away and I never heard it again. Maybe just a connection issue there. Anyway, the music sounded good through the headphones, just like if it was Bluetooth right from the phone's own Bluetooth.Overall this is a fantastic little dongle. It was very easy to use. It doesn't have a screen but it talks to tell you when it's paired, or it's in pairing mode, etc. I thought it would be hard to pair with my headphone since there are many Bluetooth devices around and I can't select the earbuds like I can on a phone. However, it just auto-magically worked. It's very simple to use. Also, importantly, the sound is good!
