5.0 out of 5 stars Best hair dryer ever!
I have really long, thick hair. It is so thick that my hairdresser recommended that I purchase a professional hair dryer so that I’m not spending my entire morning drying my hair. Not only does my Dyson dry my hair quicker than any other hair dryer that I have ever owned, but it has several attachments that come with it. I have yet to try out all of them, but I will definitely be doing so. I just want to feel as comfortable with the dryer itself first.I’m particularly excited to try out the extension that will let me style smaller sections of my hair into a curled look. I know that using this particular attachment will be a lot of fun, as will all of them. It will take some time to play around with attachments. This dryer is a best on the expensive side, but if you want a professional dryer, this is it 100%. You won’t be disappointed if you invest in a Dyson professional hair dryer. It’s incredible.
5.0 out of 5 stars Gimmicky with few Nice-To-Haves
Let me start off with how ridiculous I thought $400+ hairdryer was. This was $500. To unwet my hair.Well, it's a game-changer. Straight to the pros and cons.Pros:(Nural-specific)-Auto-detect when it's placed down is nice. Rarely use it because it's still running, but nice peace of mind knowing I won't burn my place down.-Heat Sensor is sometimes useful. It all depends on the attachments, as some aren't designed to work.-Dry settings memory for each attachment is very convenient. No need to fiddle with buttons swapping between attachments.-Very lovely color in person, I'll embarrassingly admit I paid extra for Nural for this.(General)-Fast drying with minimal heat, no hair damage.(Comment: I didn't believe it when everyone said it was a game-changer but really. I used to infrequently dry my hair... now I just do it for fun. It's perfect right before showering for a night out. Also, I rarely showered at night because I didn't want to sleep with wet hair, but now I can and do so very frequently.-Pretty lightweight and easier to maneuver than traditional. It's less bulky, and it doesn't have a long nose. Feels very nice to use on a daily.)-Thick cables, nuff said.-So many useful attachments. Many videos out there that can explain better than these texts.Cons:-Price. $500 is still much, $250-300 would sit better. There are Dyson copies on Bolo for fraction of the cost and are almost as good. But if you've got the money and the pros really matter, it's still pretty worth.-Durability? I've heard these break often and I can see it. For this price point, that's unnerving. But mine's not old enough so take this with a grain of salt.-The buttons for different settings. Placement is all over and not very ergonomic nor intuitive. I also keep turning it on accidentally when I place it in a holder but of course, this varies per your setup.Overall, I feel like it's a game-changer. If you thought expensive hair dryers were ridiculous like me, try one in-store or borrow a family or friend's.. if they even let you. I guess that'd be the real friend test!
5.0 out of 5 stars Hefty price BUT, worth every penny
I wanted one of these ever since they first came out in 2016 and this summer i finally decided to pull the trigger and i could not be happier! the scalp protect mode is phenomenal, doesn’t get too hot for my scalp no matter how close i get the hairdryer yo my scalp. The functionality of it cooling down and slowing down when you set the device down is a really nice touch i never quite realized how badly i needed. the attachments are amazing, i really like the root pick for drying my roots and the concentrator for blowouts. All in all, worth every penny to me personally
5.0 out of 5 stars The last Hair Dryer
Dyson is in a class all by themselves. Many will scoff at the price as I once did, but after my wife has used this dryer, I saw how well it worked and the technology that went into it. The attachments have a memory function so when she changes them via magnet they automatically adjust to her preferred settings. The new and improved Nural knows how close you are to your scalp and doesn't allow you to scorch the outside of your hair. The quality and durability has been great compared to other high ended hair dryers. Be sure to log into the app and register it once you receive it for ever more control and to secure your warranty.
4.0 out of 5 stars great dryer, love the diffuser, but.... the price & weight
This is a fantastic dryer for my curly hair. I love the diffuser. Love it! I have a few great dryers but I keep going back to this one. What I don't love is the cost and I find that with more features and "brain" come a lot of weight. It is a weighty machine. It doesn't stop me from favoring it over my other dyers, but it is a consideration. It has lots of awesome attachement for other hair types, styles and uses. I stick to the diffuser. I wish this one came with a carry bag or storage case. I think there is a version of the Nural that does. I guess I will invest in a 3rd party bag if necessary. Overall I love it.
5.0 out of 5 stars So Happy, Great Investment
Dyson absolutely knocked it out of the park. It's a solid investment and worth saving up for, too.The technology is amazing. All the attachments and directions are so worth it.The control, the warm and cool air helps my hair so much.Do I think its helping my hair and scalp? Unscientifically - YES.Best hair dryer I have ever owned.Save up for it, its worth it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Beware
I received a used and tampered with blow dryer , I immediately sent it back for a refund. Still waiting for it . $500.00 is not a little amount of money especially for a blow dryer. So disappointing.
