It's in a remote spot, where raccoons and possums can get at it. Even though the raccoons climbed on it and knocked it over, they couldn't figure out how to open it. They pulled the power cord out and the batteries drained. I will harden the installation to protect it better. Works well over the internet, but I can't figure out how to reset the WiFi after initial setting.

It was easy to set up. After a couple of days, it’s great! The cats don’t wake me up in the middle of the night to eat. I can see how they much they eat each time to adjust the amount dispensed. Why didn’t I do this sooner?

Stopped working after 3 weeks. No instructions on how to fix.Update 9-10-24: Rebooted it after a few days and it resumed working.It worked great before and after the brief lag, dispensing pet food at the scheduled time. Best part is my pets can't get it open no matter how hard they try. The storage lock is pet-proof.I wish the recording volume was higher or could be adjusted but it's still enough that my pets hear it from wherever they are and run to feeding time at the station.I was surprised at how small the portions are. Had to dramatically increase the number of portions in order to get regular feeding portions for my pets.I give it a 4-star for relative ease of set up and functionality. Only had the one skirmish with it but it reset itself. So, all's good. I'm happy with the product overall.

We needed a way to automate the feeding of feral farm cats, two of these feeders gives a little over 8 days between reloads. They are not raccoon proof, is anything, but we gotten them hardened such that they serve our need.

Product works well. It was a little confusing to figure out how many portions to set for two cats, so I would test this out before leaving for any trips. Once I figured out how much food I needed to set it to put out, it worked great. I used to to feed my two cats while I was out of town for a week. It can hold a good amount of food and does a good job of evenly distributing food between the two feeding bowls. My only complaint is that I wish the user guide had better portion guidelines.

This works really well, unfortunately I had to take 2 starts off for 2 separate reasons. 1. You can’t connect this to an app. Maybe that’s on me because I assumed you could, but you can’t. And 2. My cats EASILY pull this apart. They pull the bowls from the base and then the divider off, so essentially all the food spills onto the floor. I have tile, so not the end of the world, but this would be gross on carpet. Additionally, the stainless bowls come out extremely easy as well, I ended up using some clear packing tape to attach them to the base rings.Pros - the top piece twists and locks so my cats haven’t figured out how to open it (this was an issue with my last auto feeder). Also, there is battery backup so if the power goes out, or my cats unplug it (also an issue) no big deal. The programming stays even when unplugged as well, even with no batteries in the unit. So you don’t have to re-program.Despite me taking stars off, and really the first complaint should only be 1/2 a star, I do like the feeder and will keep using it. My review is just an honest opinion!

2.0 out of 5 stars Stopped Turning on After 3 Weeks
It was working really well and I loved that it had a battery backup, but after 3 weeks it stopped working. I'm not sure what happened. The cable worked when plugged into other things so the cable wasn't bad, and even when we put the D batteries in it, it just wouldn't turn on any more.We wanted to use this so that our cats would still be fed on a schedule while we were gone, but even with a new one I'm worried it would stop dispensing food. I'm really disappointed.
