Perfect, reliable, gives user a more reliable, stable & secure balance. No thumping noise! Also significantly reduces if not eliminates shoulder strain associated with using a cane. Light weight & easy to adjust height (by adjusting height it will easily fit overhead aircraft cabin storage)

I had my sciatica act up very severely a short time ago. So bad that I could not walk to another part of the house unless I was holding myself up by a countertop mostly or I'd end up on the floor in severe pain. Well, I DON'T HAVE countertops in enough places to get to where I need to get to even when trying to "recover"!Enter this cane. It went together easily, and I really like the little 4-prong foot thing on the end as I think this is MUCH more reliable than just a 1" piece of rubber that could slip.This cane is VERY sturdy! I had to put A LOT of my weight on it to relieve enough of my back pain to reach the next area in my house and not collapse from the pain and this cane never failed me!Now, I am fortunate enough that I "normally" do not need a cane or walker for assistance walking, but this cane really helped in my recovery from my back going out for sure! I found it to be exceptionally strong and reliable. It easily took all of the weight I put onto it and never was I worried that it would collapse on me! It also is very adjustable, so I was able to adjust it to the PERFECT height I needed it to be. (Which was probably not the "regular" height I would use if I needed it for a leg injury, but It would have adjusted for that height also! This is a seriously excellent product

Stand By Me is a clever name for a walking cane. Seriously, this cane can stand up on its own given its wider base. It's a soft, lightweight aluminum for the shaft and is adjustable in height. I'm a pretty stall guy and use it at max height. My mother is quite short and petite and uses it at a lower height. It works great for both of us. Finally, the handle grip is comfortable and easy to maintain hold.

This Famica Stand By Me Walking Cane is comfortable to carry. It is not just for the elderly. Everyone who needs assistance with walking isn't old. Anyway, the handle doesn’t hurt my hands or cause them to fatigue easily. I can adjust the height; although, I find the way to adjust the height a little cumbersome. I like having the push button to adjust instead of having to remove the pin to adjust. I lose my place easily this way. Having to take the pin out makes it prone to being dropped. I didn’t think the pin would hold up but has done well. I use this cane now as my favorite although I complained about it when I first received it. I can bear down on it and not feel as if I'm going to fall. The rubber pad is not the most stable although it’s supposed to “stand by me”. It rocks by me and falls by me often. I have issues with it falling over too often. Whether I’m at the hospital or doctor’s appointment, I find myself having to catch it before it hits the floor. It knocks over easily as well (the slightest touch sends it on its way to the floor). It seems that the “feet” on the rubber pad are not even or do not extend enough causing it to wobble. I think this cane would be fabulous with a more sturdy rubber pad. There's nothing to tell me what size replacement pad would fit so I'll have to do a trial and error to find a better fitting pad. Great cane otherwise.

This cane is exactly what I hoped for! It has the adjustable height and pull options to break it down into a compact piece for storage. The quad foot has been wonderful for balance and for retrieving from the floor when the cane falls. I love the s-shape to have my fingers together when walking, instead of the center of the cane coming down, causing my index finger to be separated from the rest of my hand, which gets uncomfortable. I also like the brushed gold. It is a bit flashy but not overpowering. I am happy with this product.

This has a little thicker and stronger aluminum build than my current cane. I like the ergonomic handle which puts your weight directly over the cane. It has a ring and padding below the handle that lets you use both hands to sit or stand. the 4-pronged base lets you stand the cane next to you, so you don't have to prop it against anything or hang it up nearby while sitting.

I like this cane that has more usable features that just plain walking canes. The curve in the handle makes it usable with two hands for sitting and getting up from a seat. I like the bottom piece that makes it very sturdy when walking. You know it will not slip since the cane bottom has more floor space covered with the wider foot piece. The handle is quite comfortable to use with the rubber added for grip. This is an extendable cane that can be fitted to the specific height of the person using it. All of this plus it is strong too. Excellent cane to have!

Is designed to help the user get up from a sitting position, it has a wide foot configuration, so the cane can stand next to you by itself,mit has a very comfortable handle too and is easy to put together with wonderful instructions!!
