This kit is fantastic - it reminded me of the variety of tools used in ceramics and clay! You are able to create a wide variety of details, shapes, and accents with these tools. They are well made and sturdy, and did not bend or break during testing. They are sharp enough to cut through pumpkin, and I would not trust young children with some of the more dangerous tools but kids can definitely handle most of them.They come with their own storage bag, which is very appreciated, as there are a lot of pieces to keep together. The kit includes color-changing tap lights with remotes, but it doesn't come with batteries.

I can not wait to carve my Halloween pumpkin this year. I usually dread it. I'll be honest, I've been using the same old pumpkin carving kit for about 10 years. Every year I get pissed off when that one thin piece of pumpkin separating the eye and the nose collapses the whole face because of the wrong tool or a dull tool. OMG!!! This is SUCH AN UPGRADE!!! I've fiddled with all of the tools in this kit. The small ones (finishing tools) are a bit wobbly, but the big ones are very sturdy and very sharp!!Along side the very wide selection of tools to use, you'll also get a bag to store all of the tools in, several templates to carve, 4 tea lights (they each take 3 AAA batteries not included), and 2 remote controls. You won't be able to get the tea lights inside of the storage bag, but the box is super sturdy and everything fits neatly inside for easy storage.Guys...I'm really excited to carve my next pumpkin with this upgraded set!

This may seem a bit pricey, but if you’ve ever struggled with the little tools sold by supermarkets, you’ll understand why these cost a bit more. The larger tools have easy to grip handles and are for cutting the opening, scooping out the pulp and roughing out the design. They feel super strong and sturdy. The set of smaller tools is for refining your design and sculpting. Additionally, the package comes with four pumpkin lights that can be adjusted for brightness and set on a timer via remote controls. You can choose between and steady glow and flicker like a real candle. Each of the lights takes three AAA batteries, which are not included. If you need a little help with your jack o’ lantern design, there are patterns in the box that are easy to follow. I definitely recommend this package, but also make sure to use caution and supervise children because some of the tools are pretty sharp.

The media could not be loaded. We loved this carving set because of the incredible versatility in tools! We could go the traditional route and pierce the pumpkin or we could go with a more contemporary version and use the sculpting tools on the surface of the pumpkin without carving all the way through. We had a blast trying out the myriad tools in this set. The zipper pouch works really well for this set, too. I think a different version of a storage option would be cumbersome due to the sheer number of tools in this set.We were extremely happy trying out this carving set and also enjoy the candle setting (flickering light, see video) and still light settings on the remote for the lights. The remote also has a 2, 4, 6, and 8 hour timer. As mentioned in the title, you will need to add 12 AAA batteries, but I had them around. I figured this worth mentioning just in case this is overlooked in the description — you can add them to your basket as you’re checking out here on Bolo.Overall, we’re quite pleased with this option, and it’s the best pumpkin carving kit my family has encountered.

Having carved pumpkins for decades using a spoon and an assortment of dull kitchen knives (definitely the B-tier ones), I was a little overwhelmed when I opened this box of tools.There are many, many different cutting and carving tools, but also a wheel to transfer the included stencil patters, and a big scoop to deal with the seedy guts of your chosen squash.Step up your carving game and go for this. You can spend more at a craft store gathering individual tools and whatnot. Your holiday squash will be the talk of the neighborhood; you will be renowned for your pumpkin artistry.There are also nifty lights (batteries not included-uses three AAAs per light) in the box. You can turn these on/off manually or with the remote--especially handy if you deploy more than one pumpkin on your doorstep.You know you need this.
