I am an avid cigar smoker, but bought this as a gift for my older brother. Very giftable since it comes in a nice gift box, wrapped in a velvet type bag. I got to say, I was rather impressed with what seems like a well built quality product. I wouldn’t rely on the sponge humidifier to do well over any real time, but that wasn’t really expected. If I planned on storing cigars for any real length of time, I’d add a boveda pack or a crystal type humidifier Stick.My takeaways Without any long term testing…. -Does not look cheap. Beautiful inside and out -Interior cedar well crafted. Smells great -Seems very well made. Interior pieces fit well. Zipper appears to seal tight with no hangups -Fits large gauge cigars just fine. In the attached picture, the side that holds 2 cigars is filled with 2-60 ring gauge double Toros (Gordos) -Can fit more cigars by removing the cedar cigar holders. -The lighter looks kinda neat but may just have too much going on and its cutter only has a single blade. -It has no handle, strap, or lanyard to carry it -Hygrometer functions. Didn’t test it’s accuracy, but its needle immediately started to rise when I put the wet sponge next to itOver time, I’ll report if any big negatives arise. At this point, I feel like it has good value for the money.

This is a really neat little portable humidor. The case feels like leather and it has a really premium texture. Inside, there's soon for several cigars and there are tools like a lighter and a cutter. All pretty neat if you know someone who is a fan of cigars and who is going on a trip, or who is on the road a lot. It's a really smart concept. The best part is that it feels very premium. My husband said "wow" when we unboxed it.

I am seriously impressed with this cigar humidor and feel as if it is very high class for those who enjoy a cigar from time to time. My husband and his friends have a tradition of smoking a cigar before their favorite football team plays and to say they were impressed with this gift I gave my husband would be an understatement!! I really didn't expect this to be such high quality or to exude so much class and luxury, but this absolutely does!! Securely carries 7 cigars of varying sizes and keeps them from becoming damaged. My husband said he likes everything about this but did express a little bit of concern over the single blade cutter initially, but then said it did the desired job but isn't what he typically prefers. The lighter has its own pouch to keep it secured in the case as well. We will be purchasing more of these as Christmas gifts for my husband's football buddies as they have each drooled over this leather case. My husband recently used this on an out of town trip to a football game and said it kept his cigars in perfect shape and they were in perfect condition after nearly 3 days in this humidor and kept their flavor and weren't "crusty." Highly recommended by my husband and his cigar loving buddies!!

Upon opening the shipping box, I was impressed with the nice box and bag this case came in. I then was very impressed with how soft and nice the leather is on the case! I noticed stuff was flopping around inside when I opened it. I think this is on purpose to give you the opportunity to place the inserts or remove them if needed. I decided to super glue them down on the side with the pocket. I love that it has a built in humidity gauge! It also comes with instructions on how to prime it before use. The included lighter is a nice touch for making this very giftable. The lighter is decent but would be nice if the 2 flames pointed to make a stronger/more directed flame. The built in straight cut is cool and I like the brushed gold look of the lighter. I do wish that the case had a leather strap to make it easier to carry. Overall, I highly recommend this case for the price and luxury feel. I would buy it again!

I love the case, cause it is easy to pack it up and carry while I travel. I like the it has a pocket for the lighter. The only thing I don't like is the lighter. It just has too much going on in one item. I prefer separate items to do their own thing.But the case itself is great. I like that it is easy to pack and carry. The reinforces cedar cigar rails insure that none of my cigars will get broken or crust while in transit.Highly recommended.
