5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!
I was worried about how strong the magnet would be… but that worry was unfounded. This product was absolutely great for what I needed it for. The sheets cut easy with scissors. The adhesive seems very strong. Bottom line: great value.Pictured is an aluminum “sign” I had custom made and then was so thankful to get autographed by one of the American voice actresses. I know she didn’t do the voice in the games, but as the great Atsuko Tanaka has passed, that bucket list meeting will be unfulfilled this side of eternity. Sub or dub, all the Medea voice talents from the Fate series were truly great!Anyway, enough geeking out- I didn’t want to drill where I intend to put it (on the side of a cabinet in my man cave), but it stuck just fine to the fridge for this pic. While the sign isn’t THAT heavy, it is probably pushing the limits of the magnetic sheet, but as long as it holds and doesn’t slide, I’m very happy.More good news: The adhesive is very strong. As in don’t count on pulling it up or trying to scoot something over a bit once you get started. Once it’s on there, unless you are barely touching it to the surface and have a good grip and hurry, it seems to be on there (unless you are determined and probably have goo-gone). Thankfully, I got it good enough on the first try… just be sure of where you want it. I’m certainly not worried it’s going to peel off and I’m going to hear a loud crash and find my treasured picture dented.I recommend covering an ample contact area both on what you want to hang and for contact on the ferrous surface to prevent sliding under weight. I experimented with another slightly heavier sign and found it definitely needs as much contact area as possible for it to be effective, but as long as you’ve got most of the back face covered, and that placed on the ferrous surface, it’s a decent and solid magnetic grip.If you have something fairly light weight such as a photo- even a thin aluminum picture as shown- or even a thin steel one- these sheets are a great method of being able to stick them on a ferrous surface.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for crafts
This review is for X-Bet Magnetic Sheets with Adhesive Backing - Flexible Magnetic Paper with Strong Self Adhesive - Sticky Magnet Sheets for Photo and Picture Magnets. These are strong enough for small craft projects, which is what I’ve used them for, and have good adhesive. I;ve used them to make magnets for our cabin door on a cruise and on a board to track states where my hubby has run. I can think of many uses - would be cute to make handprints in a child's class as a gift for mom or to make "frames" for children's art. These are really just for making craft magnets to display. I don’t think the finished project is strong enough to hold up much other than a single piece of paper. It’s easy to use these for custom magnets. Print the picture you want on a piece of heavy paper or photo paper, use the adhesive to place the picture on a piece of the magnet, and then cut them out together. I’ve found it best to have a piece of magnet paper and a piece of photo paper both larger than the desired end result. Once they are fused, it’s easier to cut them both together rather than trying to cut one of them around a pre-cut shape of the other and the worst is to cut both first and try to match them up. At $1 per page, you can afford to waste a bit around the edges!
4.0 out of 5 stars fine for drawings but not strong enough for other uses
I've got a light weight paper towel holder that originally had a magnet to hang on fridge. I lost the magnet and was hoping this would be an acceptable replacement. Unfortunately the magnet is not strong enough. I'll use to put my kids art work on the fridge but it's not strong enough for anything else
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great! Save your stickers and decals for another day!
I saw a great idea recently for saving precious stickers and decals that you might have. Once you stick a sticker somewhere, you've essentially 'lost it' if you decide to get rid of the product you stuck it to.Well, I saw a post online where someone was putting stickers on their took chest, and to do so, they stuck the sticker to this magnetic sheet, cut them out and then used the sticker as a magnet on their tool chest. That way, if they want to change the position of the sticker, they can, but if you want to keep the sticker or decal when they get rid of the tool chest, they can just lift it off and put it on a new one.I picked up these magnetic sheets to give it a go, and they work perfectly. I have NewAge storage cabinets in the garage and I put a Summit Racing sticker on the magnet, cut it to shape and I was able to put it on my steel cabinets and move it around to where I want it.These work really well for this purpose, highly recommend them, and this idea in general! Go for it!
3.0 out of 5 stars Wrong Answer - question ..will the magnet be strong enough to hold a bottle opener on the fridge? NO
ez cut out, ez adhesive, probably great for paper but anything with any "real" weight to it won't work the magnet is not strong enough, Again, for Paper or Pictures probably works just fine - Please note the circular disk(also adhesive magnets) were successfully used as an alternative they are NOT included as part of THIS reviewcircular magnets NOT included but did work are- Ferrite Magnet 36 Pack(found on Bolo.com)
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice to have on hand as you make your DIY holiday gifts!
I'm gearing up for my DIY holiday gift making and giving, and I've been thinking about items that can be attached on metal doors (refrigerators, etc.) I'm planning a few larger pieces. I saw the X-Bet Magnetic Sheets with Adhesive Backing - Flexible Magnetic Paper with Strong Self Adhesive - Sticky Magnet Sheets for Photo and Picture Magnets, Stickers and Other Craft Magnets (8" x 10", 10 pcs), and I knew this larger size was what I needed. I liked the .3mm thickness of the pieces as that is easier to cut, and though it's .3mm thick, the pieces appear to have good magnetic adhesion. I've yet to stick one on to my craft items, but am sure they will stick properly. Overall, I'm pleased with the larger size of this magnetic backing and I'm looking forward to using this when designing my larger holiday gifts. Overall, 5 stars for this pack!
Very thin but worth it
These magnet sheets are very thin. Much thinner than I expected. But, that doesn't mean they aren’t useful. There are a ton of things you can do with them if you’re creative. I always like to have “things” on hand that I’m not sure what I’ll use it for, but when the time comes, they fit the bill. The junk drawer thing. This is a perfect junk drawer thing. My wife saw its usefulness right away. She’s using them to organize and store thin metal card making dies. She almost used them all up. The leftovers are now in the drawer, but I'll probably need to get more. For $1 per sheet, I think they are worth it.
Worked great for art projects
I ordered the X-bet magnetic adhesive sheets 4 by 6 inches, and they work perfectly for turning photos into fridge magnets. You just peel off the adhesive cover, stick it to the back of your photo, and instantly have a magnet for your fridge I used them for pictures of my cats and dog, as shown in a photo I took, and they turned out great. These sheets are also versatile you can cut them into custom shapes for stickers, use them to make magnets out of your own designs, or even print images on photo paper and create your own unique magnetic fridge art. The only slight issue I encountered was that peeling off the adhesive cover was a bit tricky, but once I got it started, the sheets worked as advertised. Overall, these are a great option for creating personalized magnets, and I’m quite pleased with them.
Not Bad
These are pretty good magnetic sheets, but I wish the magnetism could be a little stronger.I am using these sheets not for their intended purpose, though. I am using them to cover up openings in my table saw body around the angle adjustment slot for dust extraction purposes. They do that pretty well, but like I said, the magnetic effect does not feel very strong, even when I place one of these on the solid iron table of my saw. But they do stick just enough not to fall off. Will these hold your favourite photos onto your fridge? Yes, probably they will. For the price, I would say these do the job.
X-bet MAGNET Adhesive Magnetic Sheets
I recently bought the X-bet MAGNET Adhesive Magnetic Sheets for a few DIY craft projects, and I am really impressed with how versatile and easy to use they are. Each sheet is a 4x6 inch size, and the 12 mil thickness is perfect—sturdy enough for most crafting needs but still flexible. The adhesive backing makes application a breeze, as you simply peel off the backing and stick it to the surface. No additional glue or special tools are required, which saves a lot of time.I used these magnetic sheets to make custom fridge magnets and they worked wonderfully. The magnet holds strong on the fridge, and the adhesive is secure enough to stay in place on various materials like paper, wood, and plastic. These sheets are also great for school projects and scrapbooking, and I’ve even used them for organizing office supplies. With 10 sheets in the pack, you get plenty of material for several projects, which is fantastic value for the price. What I love most is the precision and ease with which you can cut these sheets to any size or shape needed, and they don't lose their magnetic strength. Whether you’re creating personalized magnets or using them for craft and DIY projects, these X-bet Magnetic Sheets are a must-have for any crafter. I’ll definitely be buying more for future projects!
magnet is on the weaker side. Good for light duty.
Review for X-bet MAGNET Adhesive Magnetic Sheets With Adhesive Backing 4x6 Inches,10 Pcs Ideal for Crafts, Fridge Magnets, and DIY Projects, 12 Mils ThicknessThere are 19 magnetic sheets in this order. I am looking for something magnetic to stick on the metal vent duct grill covers. The vent covers do have a tab to adjust how much air can go through, but they are all stiff and very very difficult to manipulate. I thought sticking a magnetic cover to the duct, which is can shift around as needed, would help the air flow in my house. So did it work? Well yes ,sort of. The magnetic sheets do stick, but the magnets are a bit weak for this purpose. I need three sheets of magnets to cover one duct.I’ll see how well the magnets hold over the season. If you’re going to use the magnet to stick a photo to the fridge, these could work. I think sticking cardboard stock paper to the magnetic sheet will be easier than trying your stick thinner paper. However, given the weakness of the magnet, cardstock might be too heavy for the magnet.
