5.0 out of 5 stars Not as heavy as I expected
I splurged on this straightener since it was on sale for Prime Day. I couldn't decided between it and the AirStraight, which was also the same price. I opted for this one due to the cordless option and the fact that I have the Dyson SuperSonic hair dryer. The reviews had me concerned for the weight of the straigtener and the battery life. Out of the box, I loved the wrap that it comes in. It will be very handy for travelling, as I can put the the straigtener into the wrap hot and throw it in my bag. The instructions were easy to follow. There is a sticker to show how to take it out of airplane mode (it is shipped in airplane mode), how to unfold the cradle, how to attach the charging cord to the cradle, and put the straightener in the cradle. Voila, straightener is charging. Pretty quickly, I was able to use the straightener. I have thick, wavy hair. I sectioned it into a couple of sections, powered the straightener to 410, and went to work. 7-8 minutes later my hair was soft and straight. I even used it to curl the ends. Full disclosure, I use pretty chunky sections. So I'm doing a fair amount of hair when I pull it through. I didn't have any tugging or yanking from the straightener when I pulled it through, which I get from my other straighteners. I also usually put my straighten at 430 when I use it. So being 20 degrees cooler, I was really happy with the results. When I travel, I'll still probably bring the cord, but not the cradle and just charge it every day. The charge is more than enough for me to do all my hair and I didn't notice a difference in the weight as compared to my previous straightener. Overall, really happy with my purchase!
1.0 out of 5 stars burns the hair horribly,
I bought this Corrale with high expectations, and it turned out to be the worst investment. It can't be used while plugged in, the plates pull and break the hair, and it burns the hair horribly, causing damage. If it runs out of battery, it doesn't work while plugged in directly; you have to wait for it to fully charge. It arrived with an import label from another country, as if it had been returned. In short, don't waste your money.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love that it's cordless
While those is an investment, I have had the Dyson hairdryer for years and I love that it helps protect my hair. I took a chance on the straightener. This helps protect your hair as well! It heats up super fast and I only have to make one pass and whether I'm straightening or curling the style holds all day. In my opinion it is worth the cost. It will be the last one you will ever have to buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just like leaving the salon.
Wife asked her stylist what he used on her hair, was impressed. Equally impressed when she used it at home !! She loves it !!
2.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced
I think it’s good but quality-price it doesn’t worth it.Battery doesn’t last.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great product but can improve
The battery doesn’t last too much. And the cord is bulky to carry on my lugage.
5.0 out of 5 stars The best straightener for my hair
This is my second Dyson Corrale Straightener - my first one died after 6 years. My hair is thick, frizzy and wavy and this is the best straightener I have found for my hair without a doubt. I hate paying $400 for a Dyson, but the difference it makes in my hair makes it worth it to me. If my new one lasts 6 years, it comes out to $66.66 a year or $5.55 a month - when I look at it that way, it's not so painful!! The perfect straightener for my frizzy hair.
3.0 out of 5 stars Love It
It keeps a good battery charge and allows you to use it while charging. I've only used it for curls which turned out very cute. They did not hold, though and I do not live in a humid area. Within 3 hours, most of my curls were gone. I am comparing this to my wireless purple confirmed hair curler. That one holds a curl for days!
