I measured my HDMI cable, and it's around 77 inches long - not quite 10 feet - but it’s still long enough to connect my desktop PC to my smart TV. The cable is thickly braided, which keeps it from tangling. I can't confirm if the HDMI cable supports 8K, as my TV’s maximum resolution is 4K, but it delivers that without issue. The ends are made of metal, and the connectors have a golden shine, so I assume they are indeed gold-plated.

I use mine to link my laptop computer to my flat-screen television so I can view YouTube videos. The picture quality on Blu-ray is superb. There is no need to "cast to another device". Fits the HDMI ports on both devices firmly. It's 10 feet long, which is the standard length for an 8" x 10" area rug. My couch and TV are at opposite ends of my room. I'm keeping this one but ordering a longer length to make reaching things more convenient.

I've been using this HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my monitor.The connectors are standard-sized, making it easy to plug in and out smoothly. While I haven't tried it with 8K resolution, it handles 4K resolution flawlessly. The video quality is crystal clear, with natural colors, and the length is sufficient for my requirement. I've been using it for a few weeks now without any issues.

I'm giving this a 1.75 star rating.I ordered the 10 ft cable and they sent the 6 ft. I can't use a 6 ft long term.The plastic packaging does not indicate the type or length of cable. The text on the barcode label does indicate that the cable is HDMI, but nothing about the length (only place the length might be recorded is in the barcode database record for the company).The nylon braiding good quality and tightly braided around the main cable. This does make the cable pretty thick, but it still bends fairly well for going around corners.The connectors have a good long pull area alone with a pull protection covering a good inch of the cable from the back of the connector. They fit snugly into the ports on my PC and monitor.It works well in 1920x1080.I get some screen tearing at low and high fps in a graphics intensive game on my 2560x1440 monitor with a RTX 3080 video card. Don't have a way to test higher resolutions.

This HDMI cable has pretty solid quality. It's supposed to be used for high throughput data transmission such as 8K HDTV or monitor. Normal HDMI may not be enough for that. I am using it for connecting my extended monitor with Macbook. It's been working smoothly and providing high quality resolutions. The cable this thicker than the HDMI cables I bought in the past. It has a layer of nylon wrapped outside which makes it more durable than cables wrapped with rubber. The nylon can also resist bites from cats, which has always been a headache issue for me. The connectors are tight, which ensures stable connection.
