This is a matte black towel ring with a circular base. Installation was very easy with the supplied 3 drywall anchors and 3 screws. If you’ve ever hung a towel ring or bar before, it’s the same thing. Install the metal anchor to the wall, following the directions, and then mount the base to the anchor. It looks good and hold the towel well.There were no scratches or defects whatsoever with the one I received and looks great. Please ignore the holes from the previous towel holder. I can’t find the plaster to fill the hole and then paint over it. Maybe that’ll be my next Bolo purchase.

This towel rack is exactly what I was looking for. It came with everything you need to install it and everything provided is good quality.Pros:1) All parts provided for installation.2) Quality paets. Even the drywall anchors are top notch. They have shoulders to keep them from punching through the drywall and they cinch up tight.3) The finsh is as advertised, matt black, and it appears to be a good heavy coating.4) Extra anchors and screws are provided in case you lose one or install it incorrectly, (like I did. The base has a vertical screw layout. I initially installed the screws in a horizontal layout but was able to abandon one anchor and fix my error by using a spare anchor that was provided. You can see that abandoned anchor in my picture of the installed mounting plate. The picture of the anchor going into the wall board is to show the anchor type/quality).Cons:None. I'm very happy and satisfied with this product.

The holder is made of nice metal material and the finish is good. However, the ring is warped a bit so it doesn't sit parallel to the wall. There seems to be some kind of rubber grommet that holds the ring to the base and that grommet is not sitting properly but I couldn't get to adjust.

Seems like its made of solid metal and feels very strong. I doubt this will ever break.The set screw can go in until the top is flush with the side before you mount it, to save you some turns. The bezel is not pitched very well and it will come off the mounting bracket easily until the set screw is secured.Double check the height using a hand-towel before drilling the mounting bracket in. I accidentally set mine a little too low for my taste, but my wife is happy with it so that is what counts.For the money this is a great buy.

Looks great and holds hand towelsthe set screw doesn't seem to work well, had to install it super deep to get it to tighten at all

I always worry at this price point that the towel ring is going to be super cheap, but was pleasantly surprised that this towel ring is heavier and nice quality. No knicks in the matte black which is also a concern. The item was packaged carefully and came with clear instructions and mounting hardware. Perfect for the need!
