4.0 out of 5 stars Still getting the hang of the milk frother, but I love this little espresso maker!
This is my first espresso make and I love it! I have been avoiding espresso for a long time as I've always been scared of the jittery effects of caffeine. I went out on a limb and decided I wanted to try out espresso so I went with the TENKER Express Machine and fell in love! I also learned that espresso has less caffeine than regular drip coffee so that made me feel a lot better.The espresso machine was easy to set up and it took no time at all to heat up. It was a very quick process to clean for the first time use. You can brew single or double shots of espresso, lattes and cappuccinos. It comes equipped with a milk frother for lattes and cappuccinos. There is a dial available where you can control the amount of milk added to your latte or cappuccino. I have loved playing with this espresso maker and am enjoying making my coffee drinks in the mornings when I need a little pick me up with my breakfast. I do have some small issues with this though. I had an issue with this feature as it seems to add a lot of milk to my latte and cappuccino regardless of where I set the dial. I have it set to the least amount of milk and it seems to empty the entire amount of milk that I poured into reservoir that holds the milk. I am still playing around with that feature so it may just be user error here. I will update this review when I've figured out how to get my desired amount of milk to come out. I have also had an issue with the espresso grounds being very wet when throwing them out. It seems like the holes in the filter are verrrrry small. They seem to be so small that the water is not able to fully flow through. I made sure to purchase espresso coffee grounds that are specifically made for espresso makers. This is something that I am still working with and I will report back when I figure out the fix.Overall, this espresso maker has been a great addition to my coffee area and routine in making a great tasting coffee drinks to my liking! If you love espresso, this would be a great addition for your coffee area, too!
