If you have a Harry Potter fan in your family, or if you're HP obsessed yourself, this is such a fun treat. I was utterly charmed by the branding, it looks like it's a magical potion or something. It reminds me of the items they sell at Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the gift shops.The scent is very autumnal to me, sort of spicy, orange-y, musky, earthy, it's hard to really explain but it immediately brings Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc, to mind. It's a wonderful scent and is strong enough to really kind of transport you to another place. Light a candle, pour a glass of your favorite beverage, and this body wash (I use it as a bubble bath!) are a perfect relaxing evening to me.The funny thing about scent is that it's incredibly subjective. My sister for example, said this was more of a summery or spring scent to her and the main note she got was lavender but she did say it smelled citrussy as well. I cannot understand how we are even related! But, she loved the scent as well, so I guess the safest thing to say is that we both enjoyed it a lot and that you may think it smells like something else altogether!It lathers up nicely, rinses off quickly, and did not irritate my skin at all (my skin is very sensitive so that is a big victory!)Value wise I think it's very reasonable. It's about half as much as I'd expect to pay for the same at the aforementioned theme park!

I ordered the Every Man Jack Harry Potter Collectors Body Wash in Herbology/Mandrake Scent because I know the brand to be reputable and I thought my son, a big HP fan, would enjoy it. I decided to try it first, and it has a wonderful forest-y scent. The scent is a bit strong coming out of the bottle, but once you have washed the soap off, it is only very light on your body. My younger son tried it and said it was "too stinky," so maybe don't give it to kids who have sensory issues around smells like he does. The body wash creates a nice lather and washes cleanly away. I love the Harry Potter-themed container and think my other son will enjoy having something from that universe.

I’m just a Harry Potter fan. I grew up reading it. I enjoy using men’s cologne and scents from time to time, so when I saw this, I was stoked. For me, I think this will just be a collector's item because the smell isn’t one I want to smell like (it’s definitely a strong and somewhat lasting smell). The smell isn’t bad. If you like very earthy, rugged, musky scents, you’ll love this. Personally, I like a lighter scent and much less musk. It's a pretty good body wash, with a very unique scent. I didn't get the lavender scent so much, but definitely got some citrus and maybe a woodsy scent to it. Smelling it right out of the bottle is very strong, but after you apply it and rinse it away, the scent really fades away. It's definitely still there, but it's not going to linger and be offensive to those that are sensitive to smell.

This review is for the "Potions/Metamorphosis" body wash, which smells like lemon, jasmine, and ripe berries. The scent is great! Very fresh. It's not too "feminine" smelling like you might think from the scent notes. It's actually very unisex.The formula for this body wash is nice as well. It lathers easily and washes off well as well, leaving your skin feeling clean and not too dry! These would be a fun stocking stuffer for Harry Potter fans.

This is definitely a fun themed product, but it's also a very competent body wash. The smell is strong, floral and somewhat fruity. The soap is clear, which on the one hand is good because that's one fewer chemical in the mix, but on the other as a potion theme it's somewhat lackluster.The scrub is great, though. It's a smooth body wash with no exfoliants in it, and it lathers up well, and leaves a nice faint aroma on your skin without any uncomfortable residue.A little goes a long way, so I do think you'll get a lot of use out of the two bottles, though for the price this is definitely a premium product. In fact, the only place I would raise as a con is the value proposition of this at 10 dollars per bottle. At the current price, despite the title of this review, I do think this won't escape the realm of novelty for Harry Potter fans anytime soon, despite being competent as a body wash.Overall, if you or someone you know is a Potter fan, this would be a neat gift, and there are several scents to chose from. If this product speaks to you, and you're OK with the price, I think you'll have a fun time with it as a one off.

My first shower with this stuff I was a bit concerned since the scent is a bit stronger than I would normally like - it's got a kind of earthy cologne smell to it - it says 'black pepper, dark pine, and charcoal,' and the pine definitely comes through for me. The initial scent when you're lathering it, while a bit up front, does fade quickly and it's still around when you're dried off but only just, so it's just a bit of a lingering scent and not a bottled headache.As to how it works, it's body wash; it lathers and cleans things, no problems there at all. If the smell didn't fade, I might have really disliked it, but the way it fades is pleasant and it's got something of an "outdoors" smell to it.
