5.0 out of 5 stars iPhone 16 Pro Max is a Solid Case at a Reasonable $$$
If you’re looking for a solid case at a reasonable price, this case will do the trick. The phone fits perfectly inside of the case and it’s easy to put on. It’s a combination of a plastic shell with rubbery TPU material as an inner layer. The TPU material runs all the way around the top of the case, which helps when gripping the phone. The TPU material is also on the sides to some degree although you feel a lot of the plastic shell on the sides of the case. It’s plenty grippy, but you do encounter some plastic rigidity. The back is all plastic with a pebbled surface. Again, it’s grippy enough but being solid plastic it’s slicker, than soft plastic or rubber. The buttons align perfectly and they did a good job with incorporating the new camera button. Unlike some other cases, this one holds firm around the camera button and the button is easy to use. For peace of mind it has a thick bumper on each corner. I plug in my phone to charge it so I did not try the wireless feature. I do not know how strong the magnet is. As an added bonus you can flip up the camera ring protector and use the case as a stand. It’s metal and feels pretty solid. It’s handy if you want to use your phone as a clock by your bed or view something on it without holding it. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase especially since this models iPhone was just released. I also bought the 3 pack of JETech Screen Protectors and they fit perfectly with the case.

Very durable. Only had a small handful of drops so far, but my phone feels very secure, very good grip, also it's not bulky. There's a nice bump on each corner of the phone that doesn't feel large but gives me peace of mind when it does fall that the actual phone is safe. Also, the kickstand on the camera lens is fun to play with /sturdy.

I think this is a pretty nice case. About the best equivalent to the OtterBox Commuter series that I have found without a massive cut out for the camera control button.That said there’s room for improvement. Both sides of the case could use more hardshell to reduce the flex from the soft rubber. The little strip of rubber over the camera control button is so thin and flimsy, that it might as well just be a cut out.The stash stand is neat and seems pretty sturdy. Pretty sure it’s actual metal, so that may require one to consider some care when setting down on a scratchable surface, like a wood table.Compared to a Spigen Tough Armor there is considerably more protection for the screen and cameras. But there’s also more bulk and weight. I like the design, material and hand feel of the ESR more.Good value for the price if you can live with some of the weaknesses.

This Case was definitely worth the money. I needed a strong case because I ride a dirt bike and this case has held up to some abuse already. I also love the built in kickstand/camara guard. Overall a fantastic case and worth every penny 👍

I've been using the ESR heavy-duty case for my iPhone 16 Pro, and I’m seriously impressed. The case feels super solid—like it's ready for battle—and the USB port cover is a thoughtful addition to keep dust out. The color scheme even gives me Master Chief vibes, which I love. The MagSafe connection is surprisingly strong; it holds onto my charger and accessories without a problem. The only slight issue is the camera button area feels a bit flimsy, which I hope gets addressed in a later iteration, but overall, this case offers amazing protection and style!

Watch out Otterbox
I am fan of esr overall with many products except one or two. This one has been hit out of the park with the way it competes to top of the line otterbox series the one that has 3 layers of protection. From otterbox similar type of case almost costs double the money but this one is exact fit and protection with half the price. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants otterbox protection and save some money too.
