You're looking at this because you want a Dyson, but can't justify spending the money. And SAME. This isn't a Dyson, I don't know first-hand, but I just know.Here's what I do know: > This dries your hair in less time. I can't quantify that with numbers, but it just does. It's faster. > It's lightweight. You don't really realize how heavy your blow dryer is until you hold this. > It blows A LOT of air. It's powerful. > There are 4 temps. They go from cool to hottest. There is a ring that lights up different colors on the back of the dryer where you can see the current temp. I actually love this so you can look in the mirror and see the temp. > There are 2 buttons on the handle. One slides up to turn on/off, adjust the speed of the air. The other is a push button that changes the temp. It took me too long to learn to keep my hand just below the push button so I wouldn't accidentally change the temperature. > There is a grate at the base of the unit that sucks in the air the dryer pushes out. You can feel the unit suctioning. Keep your hand away from that too.I live in the South. My AC works fine, but nature's hot air works better. What I'm trying to say is that my bathroom gets HOT. So hot I don't always dry my hair beacuse I'm dripping sweat when I'm done. This is the dryer that solves the problem. It's fast, it's powerful, the hot air is hot enough to dry my hair, but not so hot that I'm melting afterwards. I have no idea if negative ions are really a thing, or how long this thing is going to last. What I do know is that my hair looks great almost on the daily.

Love this blow dryer and I dry my hair almost daily! Very similar to a Dyson or a Tideway (I have used both) and works just as good. Maybe even better (Dyson dried my hair out). Here are a few things I like most: • It’s fast: It feels like it dries my hair noticeably quicker than my other dryers. • Lightweight: Super light and easy to handle and style. • Powerful airflow: on all four temperature settings. • Sleek design: The light-up ring that changes color with the temperature setting is great. It’s a quick, easy way to know exactly what temp you're working with. • Easy controls: The buttons took a bit of getting used to, especially learning not to accidentally press the temperature button, but now it’s second nature. • Minimal heat issues: It gets hot enough to dry my hair without making me feel like I'm burning it. • Shiny hair: My hair seems shinier and soft after drying than with other dryers. • Stylish: looks great in my bathroom. • Value: Great price for what you get.Overall I love this dryer and recommend it! Great value for the price!

This Royalstar hair dryer works well and is exceptionally good at preventing hair breakage. I have another negative ionic hair dryer that cost me four times as much, and this one really stands up to the other one. The hair dryer is lightweight, relatively quiet and easy to use. I would highly recommend reading the manual before using it. The settings are not necessarily self explanatory, but the manual did a good job of explaining the settings. It only comes with one attachment; the only other one that I miss is the diffuser. I would start drying my hair without an attachment then switch to the directional nozzle to finish your styling. The magnetic nozzle simply snaps on and you can rotate to accommodate different sections of your hair. Especially with the nozzle on the hair dryer can get very hot so be careful not to get too close to your scalp or stay in one spot for too long.Having said that, both this hairdryer and my very expensive one do not take as long to dry your hair so in general you do not get as hot. The end result is that it is easier to style your hair in a shorter period of time. It also is easier on your hair and your hair looks shinier and smoother At $99.99, this is an expensive hair dryer. I do think that the quality is worth the price, especially when compared to some of the competitors.

I have super long curly hair and I'm always looking for that perfect hair dryer for travel. This dryer works but I think it's a little pricey for what it does. It doesn't come with a diffuser for curly hair and it has that high pitched sound that all little hair dryers have. I

I don't often dry my hair. I do it so little that I cant even speak about the ion technology that this has. However, in a pinch, when I do need to try and wrangle my hair into something other than a wet bun, when I use this, it does dry my hair quickly and efficiently. I'm terrible at styling, so the dryer is only as good as it's user in that regard.Personally, I've been using this to help sticky things actually stick in my RV, and this has worked WONDERS for that! Som, theres something. It's small and compact, which I really like.

Not very powerful. The button to change the temperature is located where you hold the dryer, so I’m always changing the temperature without meaning to. I have short hair and it takes way longer than 3 minutes to dry with this dryer. Disappointed!

This is a nice hair dryer and will easily outperform anything you can find in a big box store for the going rate of around $50. It moves a lot of air. Settings are easy to operate and controls are slick and high-end looking. It heats up quickly. It also is easy to store and pack with this super compact design compared to more traditionally shaped dryers.I'm not sure I'm totally convinced that the "negative ion" hair dryers are truly a benefit, it seems more like marketing to me from what I've read. With that said, it at least doesn't hurt anything though.Choose between models and brands mostly based on price. I've had a couple of these now and I would say that the ones that look similar, are similar. This appears to be a rebranded product that is nearly 100 percent identical right down to the packaging. If you see other listings that look the same but have different brand names on it, it's probably the exact same thing. Just choose which brand has better pricing at the moment.
