Time clock that can be used either with fingerprints or a code. Eliminates the need for paper time cards, and keeps track of employees time. It comes with the battery back up in the event of power failure you do not lose your data. There is an app for employers to monitor employees time and generate reports. Instructions were easy to read, fairly simple installation and set up.

We are opening a new business very soon and I was looking for a way for my employees to clock in without using the traditional punch cards. This seems to have all the features I was looking for, one of which was fingerprint punch in or code punch in. Other were battery backup and keypad entry as well as auto calculation.Setting up employees is pretty easy. We set up 3 so far. However 2 of the 3 had some trouble getting their fingers to scan. It just would not read the fingerprints when setting up and took quite a bit more time than it should have. This is why I have removed 1 star. Not sure what the issue is with that but I will update it once we get going.It has a lot of potential and I'm hoping it meets my expectations!

This time clock is very easy to setup and use - neither you nor your employees will have any trouble using it. At this price point, I'm not sure you can find a better deal. This is the second NGTeco time punch I have ordered and I have been very happy with both of them.

The media could not be loaded. Less than a month after purchasing the device, the device stopped functioning, it does not work and is stuck on the main screen. I tried to restart it, but you have to wait for the battery to empty. The device does not respond even with a reset. The device was fine and working perfectly, but the malfunction made me not use it at all. It is now in the box.

After spending a few hours setting up. I went home thinking I could manual add the hand written time cards from earlier in the week. Well I was wrong and now this time clock is useless to me. Living 1 hour away and can't get into the time clock remotely. It's just useless!!

Lamentablemente al elegir de este producto para comprarlo es que maneja un App para revisar la informacion en linea pero despues de 3 semanas revisando y esperando poder descargar la App nunca estuvo disponible en la tienda de apps. por lo que el checador no es funciona para nuestros propositos.Al revisar en el appstore nos dimos cuenta que es un problema de meses por lo que no deberian de informar o promocionar que puedes manejar una App como un plus de este producto.
A good device, fingerprint sensor may cause some difficulty
We have a small team of 20 individuals and unfortunately we are running in to some difficulties with attendance. This Time Clock machine has helped us out quite a bit just with a basic installation and having it as part of the team's daily routine.Note: Just having the time clock process in place created an immediate change for us as people realized that we were serious about tracking unrecorded absences.We are now able to easily check on attendance and hours worked via an app with no extra fees. This is important to us as we don't want to get in to watching people constantly, we just want to be able to find the outliers and act upon unacceptable trends.The backup battery is another win as we recently had a few power surges and out outage that did not impact our time clock at all. In fact staff that came in on-call due to the outage was able to clock-in even though we did not have power. Good stuff.The only significant downsides have to do with the fingerprint sensor as the team needs training on how to use it properly, you need to have each team member be present to provide their fingerprint for the initial setup, and the fingerprint reader may take a few attempts to read properly.Overall very good value for the price, just read the instructions and play around with the app to understand how it works + train your staff properly.

Needs Employees Cooperation
Setting it up was a breeze, and I appreciated that there are no monthly fees since the app is free. I particularly like the USB feature for downloading reports, which is super convenient. However, there are some drawbacks. The app isn’t very intuitive; it took some time for me to get the hang of it. Introduce this system early to help everyone adjust. Overall, I think this time clock is a valuable tool for keeping track of employee hours accurately. Just be prepared for a little bit of a learning curve, and encourage your staff to develop a consistent habit of clocking in and out. Save your money!
Do not buy this! Had problems with it since day one. App never worked, USB wouldn’t read or download the hours. Unit would randomly stop taking fingerprints, so I added codes for staff members. Then after 45 days, screen went black and is no longer working at all. Waste of money and I feel bad for my staff who now have to write their hours down and we have to go back to the honour system of when they were at work. Not ideal.
