I got these for a pair of old reading glasses that I adjusted to fit real loosely. The strap is to hold them in place semi-loosely. They work for my application.

I got these for a Disneyworld trip and they kept my glasses on while my face was attempting to sweat them off. I also had no issues on rides. They did get loose and I would need to tighten them every so often. I was impressed it didn’t break either. I also have thick glasses and it fit over them easily.

These glasses holders (strap) interfere with the wearing of your glasses due to the difficulty of placing them on your ears. I would not recommend this item.

Obviously not really a life saver, but definitely made my life easier this summer with kids. Shades keep falling off when making sand castles? Tight the strap to their head. Shades getting lost a thousand times in a 5 minute walk? Just hang them by their neck. I had originally bought this for myself, but ended up using it for my kids and purchasing another pair.
