These bags work with my Foodsaver vacuum sealer just fine, and it's at least 10 years old. One thing I've learned about all vacuum freezer bags is to do a double-seal. Do the vac and seal as usual, then open the latch, pull the bag towards you about 1/4 inch and then do a seal only. Since I've started doing the double-seal, I've had much better results from my frozen meat. So these bags work fine and are much cheaper than the brand name ones. One note on these: the smaller sized bags are pretty small. I was able to put 1 pound of ground beef in the small size, but it was a pain in the neck. But they would work for single boneless chicken breasts well, as long as they're not huge.

This is a lot of bags for a good price! I expected inferior quality, but these are as good as any rolls I've used. The benefit here, obviously, is that the bags are ready to use and don't have to be cut off a roll and sealed on one end to form the bag. The only consideration before ordering this many is that they are uniform sizes, which limits range of use. I make my own sausage and buy meat at Costco, so the large bags are great for freezing quantities of fresh meat and the smaller ones are perfect for one pound portions of ground sausage.

These Moretoes vacuum bags are very similar to other pre-cut ones out there. The thickness of the bags are comparable to others as well. The 6” x 10” bags are actually more like 5 7/8” x 9 3/4” and the 8” x 12” bags are 7 3/4” x 11 3/4”, if that makes a difference to you. There’s about a 1/2” sealed edge on the 3 closed sides, which is about the same as other bags. These bags also have an easy tear slit on both sides about 1 3/8” from the pre-sealed end, which are very convenient. The bags work well in my vacuum sealer and seal well, so far. Overall these are good pre-cut bags and I’d just look to see if these are a good deal compared to others.

I’ve used these vacuum sealer bags by Moretoes for venison recently and they performed as expected. These are not the thickest bags I’ve used, but honestly I’m not as big a fan of some of the major brand thicker ones. Each bag I’ve used has easily sealed – no failures. My photos show venison burgers that I grill and freeze on cookie sheets before vacuum sealing them. I haven’t used these for any liquid items, but when I normally do liquids I pre-freeze those also. Overall these are very competitively priced compared to others here on Bolo and I would purchase them again.
