5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good!
I purchased this pump on sale. I have a Spectra S2 but I barely pump because my baby acts a fool when I try and I know for a fact I need much much smaller flanges. I’m 3 months into my journey with my son, I went 4 1/2 years with my daughter who also didn’t take bottles as a baby. Some key things to know:- I’m normally a 38G/40F depending on the bra.- Sometimes my nipples aren’t fully erect and so they can be flat.- I exclusively nurse my baby but I do have an oversupply even with just nursing.- In the photo above I got that within about 3 minutes of using the pump with the 17mm although while measuring it says I need a bigger flange (I tried it on and the 17 is the one that fits correctly and comfortably). I got 3 ounces in 6 minutes. Now I haven’t been using the pump long enough to speak on long term use BUT a few things I went to mention is that most pumps come with a standard flange of 24mm-27mm, some 21mm like the Medela and I was told the 21-24mm is the right size for me. This is incorrect and after receiving this pump and using the 17mm COMFORTABLY, I was right on those sizes not being correct for me. Even as being a lactation professional myself, having a lactation professional for my own journey is important but they can be incorrect sometimes and because I’m a lactation professional I’m comfortable with learning and seeking second opinions when needed. If you’re reading this, it is absolutely normal to get .5+ ounces after nursing your baby. That is not a supply issue, you’re pumping leftovers AND even then…what you pump isn’t an indication of what your baby is getting from you.Try this pump if you need something on the go but not to replace all of your babies feedings, i see me using this most definitely when I need to get things done around the house and baby is sleeping or I’m engorged but baby is asleep.Overall, first impression is the pump is worth the money. I’ll try to remember to update overtime.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great pump
I love this pump it has been a huge help with my breastfeeding journey and a little secret spectra tube's will hook to the cups the battery life is pretty good suction is great even if the battery is low
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Value - Not Very Quiet Though
Just like every hands free pump, this one has its pros and cons. I have tried 3 different brands and it is comparable to the others in its price range.Pros:-I like that this one has a larger cups to hold more milk (6oz) if you produce larger amounts. The others I’ve tried only hold 4-5oz.-There is a timer that tells you how long you have been pumping. If you’re like me and throw these on while doing housework and lose track of time, it’s convenient. It will also automatically shut off after 30 minutes.-The charge holds for a long time. I charge it over night when I nurse and it lasts when I pump every 2 hours during the day.-It extracts more milk than my other hands free pumps and it is also way more comfortable.-3 modes and 9 levels of suction.Cons:-The hand held monitor/pump motor vibrates and is SO loud!!-It is NOT very discrete with the long tubes and bulky pump motor.-There are a lot of parts to disassemble, wash, and put together. For the price of this pump, I am satisfied with it. It is a good pump to buy if you’re not looking to break the bank. It does exactly what it is supposed to do!
1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work long term
I got this pump because I liked the smaller size and the hands free option. It worked great for the first 2 weeks. I pumped 1 to 2 times a day along with nursing. Then all of a sudden, I was pumping and lost all suction. It didn't matter how many times I re-adjusted, turned the device off and back on, moved around the tube's. No suction. And now it happens every single time I try to pump. About a minute in, I lose suction. Not worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for price
I really like that I can take this with me on the go and when my toddler needs attention I don't feel trapped at an outlet.I like the cup size and feel that it does it's job. Auto shut off at 30 minutes and charges quickly. I just have to plug it in at night and it's ready to go the next day.
3.0 out of 5 stars Worked good for the first couple of days
I really wanted to like it. Worked good for the first couple of days! After that, the suction really tanked! I think it was the valves. They kept popping off!
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good 👍
Wowww good product, it working good.
2.0 out of 5 stars It was great till it wasnt..
I wanted to love this so badly, but unfortunately mine came defective.. it leaks like crazy and for someone who exclusively pumps this is hard when I lose two oz everytime. Tried fixing it but still leaks.
