5.0 out of 5 stars Long Lasting
Keeps my puppy occupied for 20 minutes licking on this treat. No mess!Edit to review: I still really like this product, even subscribed to have a delivery every month. However, Bolo needs to ship this product in a box. These are in a bag from the manufacturer and Bolo puts them in a uncushioned bag to ship. I received an order of 3 bags today, (order was I think almost $15 a bag) and for the third time - at least 3 treats inside were broken. it makes it really hard to put in the Pupsicle then. I don't know if I am going to order anymore, which makes me sad since I bought 3 of the Pupsicle toys. I did buy the mold but I don't have the time to always make them myself.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pups love -- package smashed
The dogs love the Woof pupsicle and keeps them happily occupied for about 30 minutes. This review is about the crummy shipping. The pops were packed in a plastic bag and smashed, crumbling about one half of the pops. Bolo customer service (once you find the link and click through a bunch of options) was helpful and provided a refund. That's great but customers should not have to spend the time to do this. Someone might want to chat with the shipping people.
5.0 out of 5 stars My German Shepherd Loves These Treats
These treats are designed to go into a rubber ball device that holds the treats in place. The treats aren’t inexpensive, but they are made in the USA & definitely worth the price for the enjoyment my dog gets out of them. My GSD will lick and lick for an hour or more until he’s managed to get every last drop of the treat. Once the treat is gone, I disassemble the ball and put it in the dish washer so it’s clean & ready to go for the next time. The actual treat, as would be expected, is edible, so it’s gone eventually. But if you get the right size treat to fit the ball, the treat keeps the dog occupied for a long time and is an enjoyable treat for them.
4.0 out of 5 stars Shipping flaw
The product itself is great, my dog loves them! They are a bit expensive, but they are quality ingredients and they keep my dog busy for awhile. The only frustration I have is that they arrived all crumbled. They are supposed to fit into the ball made by the same company and the small crumbles just fall out of the hole. That said, they are soft and you can mold them back together like playdoh.
3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings
I love the concept of the pupsicle and overall, I find them the perfect distraction for my two pups when I need some solid, uninterrupted (30-40 minutes) quiet time. These take far longer than a bully stick to work through (my super chewer dog still hasn’t managed to break a pupsicle, either, which is a huge plus). So mostly, I really like them. And the convenience of these pre-made refills is great (vs. making my own balls which I still haven’t done, even though I bought the mold). But honestly, the refill packages have been inconsistent in their texture and relative freshness. Some arrive with some appropriate moisture and hold together well in the ball. Others arrive much more crumbly or dry and therefore bits fall out of the ball immediately. It can be disappointing to get a less than stellar batch, when these are so expensive. (In the XL size, which is what I need for my large pups, you only get 5 per bag.)Also, I’ve noticed that on some bags, the ziplock part breaks right away, meaning I have to store the entire thing in a larger ziplock bag.
5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy and long lasting treat!
Our dogs absolutely love these!! They’re dry and don’t make a mess which is nice and don’t smell too much! Both dogs stay occupied for at least 20 minutes and are typically a bit more calm after enjoying them. I like that it comes in different flavors and goals (calming, joint health, allergies) and the ingredients are pretty dang clean!
5.0 out of 5 stars Husky favorite
My husky loves these! For the price they’re a steal with using the pupsicle ball. They’re easy to use & are the perfect texture that they’re not too dry or too wet. There’s no noticeable smell when being used but they do smell good. They occupy my husky for at least twenty minutes. Overall a great purchase & I will continue to buy them!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works but expensive!
I bought these Pupsicle Pops to go into the Woof treat ball they are intended for because the homemade treats I made, froze and put into the treat ball only lasted 5min. My dog loved these and they did last longer than my homemade treats, maybe about 10-15min. BUT! you only get 8 treats in a bag and for $17. that is about $2. a treat, that's a lot of money in my opinion! I need to use something to distract my rescue dog every night when she goes from angel to demon. This is just too expensive. I wish I could figure out how to make a treat like these Pupsicle Pops that are soft but firm and dry which I think is the reason they last longer. My treats were made of yogurt and peanutbutter so they turned to mush quickly. I am back to stuffing a bone I got from the pet store with cheese and peanutbutter and get about 10-15 min. of distraction with that, so this whole system of Woof products while well made and my dog likes it, it just didn't perform like I hoped and in the long run was a poor value for my needs. The hollow cow? bone from the pet store is a better deal.
