The basketball comes with everything you need including the pump. It pumped up easily and evenly. I love that it comes with the batteries already installed plus includes a full replacement set! I haven't had to replace the batteries, so I can't remark on that. Mostly I love the light up feature. It's nice and bright and makes night playing fun and definitely easier.

This was a hit for my teenagers they're ones to play outside in the evening so this was a great addition. It's a pretty durable ball. I was worried about the batteries coming loose or something just from all the bouncing and wear tear my boys will do to it. But, it has lasted the whole week and is still going. It also only lights up when it gets bounced, which I like. Saves the battery. So I haven't had to change them out yet. But it also comes with a hand pump, extra batteries and tools to assist with changing them. Overall, it works and feels like a regular basketball, it's durable too, but knowing I have to change out the batteries at all is a bummer. But, the price is ok but not a value because sooner or later I'll have to purchase more batteries and it takes 6 AG13. Rechargeable would be better. This will do for now. It is still worth seeing my boys enjoy it.

This is an excellent item and highly recommend. Purchased as a gift for my kids who have a lot of light up sports balls including lacrosse, football, etc. This is one of the brightest of our purchases, love and LED light as it will last much longer, and we are super happy with the value and quality of this purchase. Lots of light up basketball options out there - this one is a fantastic choice with bright lights and great value!

I bought this to give away to a student at my school as a prize. The ball is a nice size and has a real basketball feel to it. I love that it comes with everything you need to get it pumped up including extra batteries. I have not pumped it up as I want to keep it in the box to give as a gift, but I know they students are going to love it.
