How can they sell this so cheap. This is 100% cotton ,no polyester and Real Leather. I paid 26.99 for a large tan and black and it appears to be true to size in pirate wear 😆. I bought this for my son 5'10", 160lbs. People the belt is worth the price. This is my first review ever but when they are spot on I sign up . I iron it that's why it's on a hanger lolHappy Customer!!!

I ordered a medium size based on other's reviews. The pants fit fine, but the shirt's tight as expected; I'm 5'9", 190# with an athletic build. I might have to shred the shirt to get it off, but I'll order a large to go with the pants for any future parties. The real leather belt, arm guards and knife holder are surprisingly well made.

Ordered for a ren fest and the outfit was great. Light weight material for the shirt so did not get too hot when worn. Accessories are great quality and worn well.

I was very impressed by the quality of this costume, especially considering how affordable it is. I like that it is more authentic looking than costume-y. I was not attentive enough about the size chart. I am typically a large, but the large size for this outfit is much too big for me.The cotton is high quality - much better than costume quality. It is heavy and thick. The pants are a little thinner, but still great. The leather components are also sturdy and thick. I was pleased with the accessories. A sword is not included.Unfortunately, the outfit is huge. I am 6-feet tall and 212 pounds. I’ve been a consistent large for decades. Therefore, I ordered the large size, but it was much too big for me. The sleeves have inches of extra length, and I have to pull the waist band up over my belly button, not to be tripping over the pant legs. The size chart measurements are true, and I wish I paid more attention to them.Fortunately, the waistband has good elasticity and stretchiness to fit a range of sizes, and was tight enough to fit my 36-inch waist.Overall, the material quality is excellent for the value, but the oversized fit makes it still feel like a costume.

Fancyfun produced a quality material and sewn men's renaissance costume. It comes with six pieces: black trousers, beige blouse, 2x leather gauntlets, a knife scabbard, and a embellished belt. The gauntlet, belt, and knife scabbard all are made of a leather (or something that looks A LOT like leather). The gauntlets and belt are ornate with metal clasps and decorations. The shirt is more of a cotton blend with texture, such that it looks time-period accurate. The pants are also cotton blend with no texturing, but several grommets and ties at the calf.I'm 6 foot tall, 186 pounds, with a 31 inch waist, 42 inch chest. The costume is a medium and the shirt/blouse fits like it should. The pants on the other hand are too long (probably 3-4 inches too long), but because of the way they are cut, the lower grommeted cuffs can be cinched at the calf level and it looks better. The pants have pockets and a drawstring, so I think these could probably fit someone up to a 34 inch waist.The belt is very long, but I assume it's because the same belt is used in every size of the costume. I plan on cutting the belt shorter so it doesn't go below the knees.The gauntlets are strung with a fabric cord, not leather. I think it would've been better for leather cord, but probably more expensive to make. Although the cord appears too short when stringing the gauntlets, it's only to make them wide enough to pass your hands through. Once cinched, the cords are fairly long and hard for the same person to tie them securely.All put together, the costume is very time piece oriented, looking and feeling great! Fancyfun really did some quality craftsmanship for this costume. I highly recommend--you won't be disappointed!

Someone bought this for me, wore it for about 9 hours the 1st time and the pants were very long, the shirt was a little short, but ok, but the cloth quality was decent, light but seems durable enough. My biggest problem was with the laces used to tie the bracers and sheath, they don’t have the plastic tip on the end of them so they frayed instantly and you couldn’t put them through the holes. That and the stain used to color the laces bleed into the shirt so there are now brown lines in the shirt that doesn’t want to come out.

I am glad I bought this! I will be going to a renfair in a week and wanted to dress up. This affordable costume is perfect for a basic medieval outfit. I ordered the medium add at 5'11 170 lb it fit me okay. The shirt was looser than pictured in the photo, but the belt helps with that. The pants were also a bitter longer than expected. I don't think I would have fit in the small because the shoulders of the shirt were just right with the medium.The pants feel linen and have an elastic band around the waist making them very forgiving. The laces on the bottom of each leg can help hike them a bit higher if needed. The shirt has that classic medieval cloth feel, I don't know if its a material or what but it looks and feels like something to fit the time period. It has the option to button at the wrist or roll up to button along the sleeve. The accessories, wrist guards, belt, and weapon holster) are all made of the same looking material which I very much appreciate. I've bought other sets and everything was slightly different colors. Not with this set! They all match and helps bring an air of authenticity to the costume. They feel well made, and have metal emblems embedded in them to aid in the look. The belt was a little long, but I looped it twice and it looks like it does in the picture.Overall very happy with this. I'll be adding a few accessories to the outfit but it is great on its own or as a starting point for something more!
