Second Purchase (different brand) of these type of lights, because I liked the first ones. This set is better & less expensive.LIKES:- Super easy to set in the ground and set mode- Bright than the other brand I had bought- Pricing is reasonable- Easy to bend the "branches" and spread out- Has lasted through the heat and weather of the summer- From a bright summer day charge, lasts nearly until sunriseDISLIKES:NoneFull Disclosure: This review is based on my personal and unbiased opinion. These are very nice and remind me of firefly lights. They come with solar panels and you remove the protective coating sheet before you use them. They have metal stands with a plastic spike to go into the ground. Each branch can be easily bent down into the shape you want to arrange it into. The thing that stood out to me is that the lightbulb heads are attached with a longer sheathe down the branch which is better than some old ones I have that failed due to the bulbs falling off and getting rusty at that point. I don't know long-term yet, but so far they auto come on and shine away at night making a nice welcoming approach to our home. The price point is kind of high but comparable to others it seems and for a four-pack seems reasonable.*Note*Vine reviewers are invited to select products on offer which Bolo then sends for free. We got these for my girlfriend as she loves her flowers and I thought it would be cool for her to have some extra light out there while she's doing some trimming after sunset.Got the 4 pack, which comes with 4 lights and 4 metal stakes. We put them outside but didn't realize where the solar panels were, so we left them folded the first day and the lights seemed to have died by sunrise. However, she later found the little box pivots out, after a day of full light, they stayed charged all through the night.They've already been through half a hurricane and a few other rain showers. It's gotten under freezing a few times and they're still working, so overall pretty happy with the quality at this point. It adds a nice little ambience to the garden at night time and helps light the sidewalk in the mornings.

Firstly, let me say the the lights themselves are quite nice. The solar charging panel has some adjustability to it, which is helpful for getting the best angle.I removed a star (really, I would have only removed a half-star if it were possible) because the 'fingers' of the lights were difficult to spread out. Mine mostly just clump together in a small burst. It's not the end of the world for me, just slightly annoying.

These solar warm white orb lights create a nice mood lighting effect in your garden or on your deck at night. These solar lights are quick to assemble and setup. Each light comes with its own built in solar panel, and each light has about 8 LED orb lights already attached. All you have to do is attach the bottom section of the pole to the light and that completes the required assembly. Don't forget to turn the light on the first time, that switch is located on the under side of the solar panel.These lights do not have a remote control, they are a simple setup, with a simple on & off switch. The lights will glow for about 5 maybe 6 hours of an evening before the charge is spent. When placing them, make sure the solar panels are facing in the direction of the sun and make sure they are not sitting in the shade or the shadow of something if you want to maximize the amount of time the lights can run at night.The overall quality of these lights is respectable, they are neatly made and are easy to assemble. They are not cheaply made, with pieces falling off of them. The solar panels are sturdy and look good. Lets see how they handle being left out in the weather day after day after day, but so far so good!
Nice and bright.
These lights come with individual solar panels….meaning no wires connecting the units together to then run off one central solar panel.Individual panels is most definitely the way to go.No tangled mess of wires in your garden and unlimited flexibility as far as placement goes, just make sure the panel is unobstructed and placed where it gets a reasonable amount of sunlight during the day).If you are going to get this type of cluster light I recommend getting at least 8 individual lights per unit.In this case there is 10 which is even better as it makes a much better impact.I have used units with as few as 4 “bulbs” and they are just “meh” in comparison.After a day of charging these units were impressively bright when they first came on.By the early morning hours they had dimmed quite a bit but still had an impact.I want to add some general comments based on my experience with very similar solar lights.To be clear I only had these lights installed for one week before removing for winter storage and I have no idea if I will have similar problems with these lights.Out of approximately 20 units ordered from other suppliers (but with mainly identical looking solar panels) I have had a roughly 50% failure rate in under one season.Despite being listed as IP65 rated, rain water has seeped inside and fried the solar panels.And not a bit of water, the casing is completely full of water.From what I understand from doing a bit of research, an IP65 rating doesn’t necessarily offer full protection from a driving rain or from a jet spray from a nozzle.I like these lights so much I will keep ordering similar units.The price is coming down a bit making the product a bit more affordable.I have ordered replacement solar panels for some units to extend the life.The way I see it this is a bit like buying annual hanging baskets.They look great for a year and then they die. For me it is worth it to make my garden look fantastic.P.S. It’s hard to show exactly what these look like at night, so I’ve had to use a flash in the first photo.
Not exactly "firefly" lights
These so-called firefly lights are a dime-a-dozen, as they say. There are so many different choices out there, and the criteria that separates them will be features vs price. Are these ones priced comparably? Yes. Do they have any features that stand out from the others? No.With this set you get 2 individual sets of lights with 10 bulbs on each (which is more than most), and each with their own solar panel, allowing you to separate them. They are very easy to assemble; just attach the stakes and you're ready to push them into the ground. You can sort of adjust them but you're really just bending the meal wire inside which results in angles instead of curves. On the underside of the solar panel you will find 2 buttons: one for power and one to change the mode. There are only 2 modes: solid, and blink. When in blink mode, they all flash simultaneously and approximately once per second. I don't like the blink mode. It's not "flickering" like the description says; and other than the demure size, they resemble nothing like a firefly. If they slowly, randomly twinkled, that would better reflect a firefly. That aside, it's worth noting that the lights do not provide "lighting" so if you're looking for something to light up a walkway or similar, you need to look for something different. That's not a knock against these particular lights - they are all the same way.With that out of the way, if you are simply looking for a solid set of decorative, solar-powered accent yard lights, and are happy with either the solid or blinking modes, then these are just a good as any of the others out there, and are suitably priced.Pros: + Individual solar panels allow separation. + Warm, decorative lighting. + IP65 WaterproofCons: - No twinkle or "firefly" mode
Very attractive solar lights

Attractive Warm Temperature Solar 'Firefly' Lights.
I do like me some solar lighting. And I have a LOT of it. :-)These are, imo, typical firefly style solar lights. The product specs indicate that you will get 15 hours of output from a 8 hour charging cycle. But nowhere does it list the battery capacity specs that would allow such a long activity time. I have some very serious doubts about this claim, but I'm sure the display at night will be very attractive however long it might last.The thing is that there are MANY variants of this type of solar firefly display available for purchase, and whether there are 6 or 8 or in this case 10 individual 'stalks', I've found they all look very nice illuminating the yard and gardens at night. Which is another way of saying that I don't find this set really at all unique. That's not a negative thing, but it is a thing.That being the case, like the vast majority of solar decor, price is likely to be one of the major determining factor in your decision making as the basic technology is identical across the product lines. Because of this I have now taken to buying solar devices largely on price. Whether this set offers the best value is something that only you can decide, but I will say that there are many choices to choose from as a basic search will soon reveal.The other large factor is capability. This set offers two modes of operation. Steady on and flashing. Steady on is just on and it looks great but the flashing mode to me is too 'flashy'. Too fast and hectic for my liking. I would have liked to see a slower flashing cycle or preferably the addition of other display modes such as fade. On the other hand, I have similar product that is only steady-on and offers no choice of display at all.These firefly lights are a great yard enhancement and if you find the pricing here acceptable, I'm sure you will be happy with the effect they produce.
Decent Garden Lights, Limited Brightness
To The Point: Attractive solar garden lights for ambiance, but brightness is underwhelming for larger outdoor spaces.My Opinion: These solar garden lights create a pleasant, warm glow that’s ideal for adding a gentle ambiance to the garden or patio. The firefly effect is charming, and the dual-mode setting offers some versatility. They’re easy to install, and the upgraded waterproofing holds up well against rain. However, the brightness is somewhat limited, so they don’t provide strong illumination. They’re better suited as accent lights rather than main lighting for a yard or pathway. For the price, they work well but might not meet expectations if you’re looking for more brightness.My Verdict: Nice for decorative lighting, but better as accent lights; lacks the brightness for larger areas.I hope you find this review helpful in making an informed decision.
