**Mushroom Coffee Review: The Fungi That Perks You Up!**I was a bit skeptical about mushroom coffee at first—let's be honest, who wouldn't be? I mean, paying top dollar for a drink that sounds like a woodland creature's potion? But curiosity got the better of me. I decided to give it a go, and boy, am I glad I did!This coffee is excellent! On the price scale of mushroom coffees, it might just be the best-kept secret (shhh, don’t tell the squirrels). It had no reviews when I tried it, which made me feel like a daring explorer venturing into uncharted caffeinated territory.The taste? Oh, it took me back to my childhood! It reminded me of those Swiss coffee cans my mom used to stock up on. Very mild, and when I added sweet cream, it transformed into something magical—more like semi-sweet chocolate than a brew from the forest floor. Seriously, it had an unexpected sweetness that made me wonder if a fairy had sprinkled some sugar in there!Now, it's my first day, so I can't definitively say if it’s boosting my energy or sharpening my focus yet. But here I am, writing this review and somehow managing to concentrate—so maybe there's something to this mushroom magic after all! I was surprised that this didn't have any mushroom after-taste because I've tried mushroom coffee before and experienced that, but this one tastes like mocha and doesn't have a weird shroom after-taste and doesn't have a gritty/weird texture either.The powder looks like "hot cocoa" consistency and dissolved easily, like instant coffee, and was easy to stir into hot water. Did wake me up like my usual caffeine.

i’ve taken other mushroom powders and felt the mood boost. for some reason this doesn’t have a noticeable effect. i’m sure it’s still doing me some good, but it’s nice to know it’s working somehow

This is a nice blend of mushrooms. It is a convenient source of many of the mushrooms that I have taken separately over the years, so I appreciate the convenience. I like to add a scoop to my morning green drink. The earthy taste is fine with me. I was a bit careless when I ordered this. I generally look for country of manufacture, GMP facilities, third party testing for purity, and similar quality control evidence, and I do not buy products that do not address this issue clearly. I realize now that this product does not tell me where it was made, what kind of facility , or steps to ensure purity and quality. The label does say no fillers. And the label also admits that the Cordyceps is Cordyceps militaris, a strain frequently grown industrially for use in mass-produced blends. Most of the mushroom blends seem to advertise they are using Cordyceps sinensis fruiting bodies, which run like USD 30,000 a pound and are never in the products I buy. So I applaud that simple honesty and hope for the best as I use this product, which so far has treated me just fine.

I wasn't sure about this since I don't normally like instant coffee. This has a good taste and is an easy way to get the benefits of the mushrooms.

This is definitely the kind of supplement I would rather take in capsule form, as the taste of this one is just not good. It says you can mix it into milk, and boy, was that a mistake. It mixed ok with a milk frother, but the taste was not good. I really like the ingredients, though. I just wish it was in capsule form. Can't really fault the product for that, though, because it's clearly stated that it's a powder. I would not pick it up again in this form, but I would get it in capsule form.
