I needed better silicon molds for making repashy food for my aquarium fish. The ones I previously had were truly intended for making chocolate, as they were too thick and too deep, it would take a long time for freeze and therefore a long time to thaw. I decided to gives these a try since you can beat 4 silicone molds for the price and the thickness seemed perfect for what I was using them for!✅ the molds are easy to use, and the product comes out effortlessly with no broken edges or chips.✅ the width is perfect, being exactly at half an inch, i don't need any thicker.✅ the bars break apart very easily making for fast and compact storage.✅ the molds wash clean and spotless with a quick rinse and soap.I really couldn't expect any better from these molds, and they're easy to store, as well. In the freezer they stack on top of one another with ruining the mold underneath it, so that makes for easy space saving in the freezer and the product pops out without having to pry or push. Just peel the silicone back. I like this size, too so it makes the right amount to last me about a month, before I have to mix and make a new batch. these are great! no complaints, whatsoever! ♡

I'll start by saying, these molds are shallow (shown in the 3rd image on the product page), which may not be the best for everything, but it's great for making traditional chocolate bars.With 4 included, it's perfect for making a lot of bars at once. They're very easy to remove, easy to clean, and the chocolate comes out with no surface impurities.Overall, this is a great deal and a good product if you're looking to make chocolate bars.

The quality of the molds is fine. It is easy to remove chocolate. However, I did not realize how shallow these are. I could probably pour chocolate on wax paper and have it come out with the same thickness. They are only 1/4” deep. Once I added puffed rice (to make our own crunch bars), the rice literally sat higher than the mold. If you want thin bars, these are fine, but they fell a bit short of meeting my needs.

These are easy to use and easy to clean, but they do not produce a shiny, glossy, finished bar.Now that may be a failure on my part, but that’s been my experience with silicone molds.And for that reason, I like flexible, clear, polycarbonate plastic molds.You can make your bars, thinner or thicker, depending on your preference.Here’s a tip:If you’re concerned about moving a flexible mold, just put it on a baking tray and it’ll be easy to move.Also, it’s good to gently tap the mold on a firm surface so you can even out the chocolate and get rid of any little air bubbles.The photos show one side of the bar where I sprinkled maple, roasted nibs, and the other side to show you the less than glossy finish.

Lightweight and durable molds. Works well for homemade chocolate bars. Good value, quality materials. Individual and large bars.

These molds work great. The silicone can handle hot chocolate when poured into the mold. Once the chocolate is cooled and hardened you can easily snap off as many sections as you need. Nothing sticks to the mold, so it’s very easy to wash in hot water, or place in the top shelf of your dishwasher if you prefer.

I ordered this 4-piece chocolate bar molds and found them easy to use, but they didn’t meet my expectations. They’re very thin and only suitable for a thin layer of chocolate. I wanted deeper molds for better fillings, so they weren’t ideal for that purpose. They’re okay for simple molding, but not great for what I needed.
