I got the results a couple of weeks after sending samples and already feel a lot more in control of my health. Knowledge is power. The app provides a high level view of your results (good, average, bad) and allows you to double-click for the details in easy to read/understand text — and gives links to more scientific wording if want to read through it. I had to look up some acronyms but otherwise it was easy to follow. The food recommendations are exactly what I’ve been looking for and feel this type of information is lacking from most doctor visits. I like that it tells you the foods to eat more of and avoid — AND WHY!I also ordered 6 months of the supplements and probiotics to try since my special blend would be hard to create on my own. I’ll follow the food recommendations and supplements for 6 months as directed and may test again to see if there’s a noticeable change.I told friends/family we visited with over the holidays about the test & results. Most mentioned they didn’t think the $399 price was very much compared to a test at a doctors’ office that you’d most likely have to cover out of pocket - especially if you haven’t reached your annual deductible amount yet.Directions to send in samples were clear - I gave myself a little extra time before work to complete and dropped in the mail on the way to work. The poop collection gave me a little stress but I’m pretty “regular” and was able to get the timing right.When completing the questionnaire I found it helpful that I had already done a food sensitivity test (also by mail from another company) so knew those results. This Viome test does not provide food sensitivity/allergy results but does incorporate your inputs into your food recommendations.

I was extremely pleased with Viome’s Full Body Intelligence Test. It was sent right away and the packaging was professional and well designed. The instructions and video were very easy to use. I had my results back in about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. Overall, the app is pretty easy to use. I love knowing what microbiomes and issues I have and what foods can trigger them. Some of the results were surprising. I can’t wait to change the way I eat and put this into action. The information was in-depth and extremely interesting. Looking forward to making changes and seeing my results improve.

My wife and I are getting older and we wanted to take more control of our health. The full body intelligence kit was exactly what we were looking for in peace of mind. The kit comes with step by step instructions to take samples and a prepaid envelop to send in the samples for analysis. Make sure to read the directions fully ahead of time as you need to collect most samples first thing in the morning. Videos are also available to help you.The app is very easy to navigate and you can track the analysis of your kit. The results are inciteful and provides recommendations on foods to steer clear of and superfoods to incorporate more into daily diet. The results did couple with supplements tailored to improve your health based on your results.

I found this test interesting. First, be sure to read the directions all the way through before taking your samples. It was time consuming, so make sure you give yourself an hour the morning you decide to collect them. After sending in my samples, it took a while to get results. I was hoping the timeline provided was an over estimate, but it took almost a month. The information they provide is well organized. I wish there was more detailed information about how the results are determined. The avoid foods list was nice to know but again, I’d love to know more of the ‘why’ behind the recommendations.

do NOT purchase if you are looking for a food allergy or sensitivity test. I wouldn't trust the gut test results either since they do not show details. Results are bogus & seem to be very generic info.Example, I'm allergic to cashews - results say: Cashews are an excellent source of copper, which serves many functions including maintaining the nervous system and the immune system. Why you should Enjoy: Good blood sugar response. Where is the sensitivity scale?? Results say either enjoy, minimize or avoid & THAT'S IT!!!! Results for cheese which bloats me: There are many types of cheese made from cow’s milk. Most are good sources of protein and calcium, which support strong bones and teeth. Why you should Enjoy: Good blood sugar response.I could go on..... If I could send back the test I would. STAY CLEAR OF VIOME. After researching I found, there aren't any peer reviews!

My wife and I each did the Viome intelligence test 3 years ago. We really enjoyed the user interface and comprehensive information we received back from Viome...so much so we are doing it now again to see what has changed for us over the past few years. The test is super easy to do, but please read over the instructions first since the order and way in which you gather the 3 types of samples is important. I sent my samples back just before Christmas. They were super fast in communication back to me that it was received and that the sample was being processed. Results back in less than 3 weeks...over the holidays no less. Great way to start off the new year. Thanks Viome. Very happy with the product and the process. Now I just hope I can follow the great recommendations and insight provided back to me.
